Black Yaya is the new pop project from David Ivar, frontman and songwriter for Herman Dune. He has written a completely fresh batch of songs, in his own inimitable style but reworked by electronic producer  Yuksek, who is releasing Black Yaya under his label Partyfine.

The New Jersey master's 1999 homage to dawn's early light has been given a re-outing on the French trio's lauded imprint (@apolloniamusic).

Classic Chandler in every sense, robust 4/4s thump under muffled shuffling hi-hats, a viscous bassline and soft airy chords, while Kerri's own supple vocals are surprisingly dulcet.

With Delano Smith on the remix with some lovely deepness, this forgotten gem is about to be remembered.

As far as Bristol supergroups go, Joker, DJ Die and Futureboogie affiliate Christophé are doing a pretty good job of representing under their collaborative project Sure Thing. 

With Desi Rogers on drums, the dubstep, jungle and house producers come together to form a group creating music that wouldn't be out of place within the confines of a Miami beach club in the '80s.

Third Ear Podcast May 2015. The first podcast since September 2015 starts with a track from B.Riddim’s next ep (3EEP-2015_07) due in July. Taking a sample from one of the greatest artists of the 20th Century, B.Riddim creates a timeless piece of music himself. This is followed by Sah, one of the tracks from Alland Byallo’s album, which was the first release of the year (3ELP/CD-2015_01). The closing track of the podcast, Singularity is from the same album and demonstrates what an accomplished and broad piece of work the album is. New releases coming in the next few months also include a debut ep by Momomo, a producer from Bordeaux in France, with Meltin’ Potes and Golden Vagina (3EEP-2015_04), So Good is from the debut ep by Scott Marshall (3EEP-2015_06), and Losing Traction from the debut album (3xlp and digital) by Sarrass, called Dirty Gear. With artists B.Riddim, Momomo, Scott Marshall and Sarrass, we are taking it into the future. 8 Ba is from Thomas Brinkmann’s second ep for Third Ear released at the beginning of the year. What was intended to be the final release of 2014 was well worth the wait, demonstrating that the master still has his touch. Many DJs slept on Julian Neumann's The Realist ep, so we're including Involved from that ep. With classics from Rick Wilhite with Mike Huckaby’s reconstruction of his previously unreleased Playcism from the recently repressed The Defenders Of The Deep House World ep (3EEP-2010_02) and Dopeus’ Don’t  I Need You from his Getaway ep (3EEP-2012_07), this is the Third Ear May 2015 Podcast. ☺

Once again this goes a little deeper than what i normally play in the clubs but these are the new records that i really adore and well...... again an example of the vinyl-market having a unique sound of it's own.
