Flowjob comes back with his second Prog Sessions show, this time an amazing new album teaser mix. 12th September, Thursday evening on the Trance channel.
Flowjob is working hard on his forthcoming full-length studio album these days but right before starting his Mexico-tour he found the time to squeeze in a little detour for radiOzora as well and recorded us an amazing new mix for the Prog Sessions series.
After the collaboration EPs with Sad Paradise and Motion Drive we also wrote about here earlier the new Flowjob studio album is due to released end of 2013 by Iboga Records and is promised to be a very versatile collection. From dark and twisted progressive sounds to house influenced uplifting sunshine vibes the tracks are going to sound quite different which was a concept here. Asking about it Joakim says: "I try to make all the tracks different from each other... And I also work with some ghosty atmospheres which I think is fun these days. But there is also room for a housy track and some uplifting ones on the new album."

In the second edition of his Shiny Whale show Kalumet salutes to Vertigo Records, the Russian psytrance label, selecting from their latest releases on the Trance channel. From Tuesday 8pm CET.
Kalumet is one of the oldest Hungarian psytrance producers who once famous of his tribal progressive style nowadays rather makes nighttime dancefloors jump around with his suomi inspired night psychedelic sounds. While constantly touring with his funky psytrance and chill-out live sets - next up: the annual Transcarpathiart party in the mountains of Western Ukraine this weekend - Kalumet recently released a digital EP on Sangoma Records called "Sheer Liquid Wonderment". Almost a mini-album with five brand new titles on it the new Kalumet EP brings all those quirky melodies and even some retro goatrance vibes and hypnotically pounding rhythms: fun and twisted night psychedelic music, just as it is expected in his second Shiny Whale Show!
The forthcoming projects of Kalumet includes a four-track techno EP for Horns And Hoofs Records and the darker side of his psytrance: Ork Monk has an upcoming release as well, "Hardcore Shanti" EP with four new tracks is coming up on HippyFlip Records.

Parvati Records' label manager Giuseppe leads us into his dark forest on 10th October 2013 Thursday 8pm CET on the Trance channel.
There is really nothing to add, he says it all: "I consider myself a world citizen, I am a nomadic spirit and I feel alive when I am on the road !!!! My first encounter with the scene happened in 1986 @ full moon party in Goa and in the early 90s I got introduced for real to Psychedelic Trance Music. During the summer of 2000, based in Aarhus, Denmark, I founded Parvati Records! The Label’s Vision was, and still is, to create a platform for psy-trance producers from the global underground scene. Since the start of the Label I have tried to pay attention to artists who explore and push the borders of electronic psychedelic trance music having also a friendly approach to the dancefloor: being innovative, avandgarded and try to reach, aggregate and stimulate wider audiences! As Label Manager I have compiled so far all the Parvati releases, except prvcd19 and prvcd24 Brainzcrew 1 and 2 compiled by Dj Ilse, and since 2004 I have started to play dj sets at parties and festivals, presenting a selection of the music released on Parvati and the demos arriving at the Label. The next transmission of the Psylife series features French psytrance pioneer Hyper Frequencies who prepared a strong, tribal and mesmerizing mix for the radiOzora listeners exclusively with his own music. From Thursday, 17th April 8pm onwards on the Trance channel, don't miss it...

Gilles Beraud known under the name of Hyper Frequencies started his career in the 80s, as a bass player in a rock band which already had a psychedelic flavor. He then discovered electronic music, started to mix in 1994 and followed with producing music from 1998. It is in 2003 that his first solo album ”Red Crystal Moon” is released on Mechanik Sound Records. At the end of 2007, his second album comes out: ”Phantasmatika” under Syncronize Records. In between the launch of the two albums, he skimed the dance floors of our planet and played on all the scene of the most renown festivals such as Boom, Antaris, Universo Parallelo, Ozora, Rhythms of Peace, Hadra, Eclipse, Shanti Jatra and Timegate just to name a few. As of today, he counts to his credit more than 30 visited countries, 70 tracks on 25 different labels such as Mechanik Records, Hadra, Spirit Zone, Peak, Parvati, Syncronize, Mandala or Psylife Records. His 3rd opus solo album “In Spiritus” has come out on Mandala last year, as always in his own personal style, a strong, tribal and mesmerizing psytrance sound.

A mash-up of 2 favorite songs of mine, Ace Ventura, a legend of the scene. And some not so well known artists, Younger Brother. (You might know Simon Posford though - lol! )
I guess this mash-up was spawned from a love of the first track 'Crumblenaut' by Younger Brother. The original piece is a slower, ambient work of art, and it had so many elements that I appreciated that I had to make something of it, something resembling a re-work made purely for the dance-floor. This is what I came to :)
