It's my first pink-coloured as I slowly journey through different colours, I hope it makes you feel the same way it makes me feel :D.

BLUE

This track is the creation and destruction of myself through words.

I listened to a lot of different music as I grew up and this "created" who I am today and what I created.

Around the middle section of verse 2 is me destroying the shy person I was in the past and owning who I am, accepting everything that I have created and inevitably moving forward on a path to self love. 

This is the first song of what I'm calling a "progressive album".

Blow Up

An extension of my "Self-Expression" stage. "Someday", fantasizes about my future self and reflects on me conquering my mental health over the years. I wrote this song in my bedroom, facing directly at the sun with my eyes closed, and stopped each time the sun went behind the clouds. I believe that part of me felt a burst of inspiration every time my eyes would glow up in the sunlight. The production of the song was quick and organic, there was never a moment of distrust, along with the recordings, as each section was done in 2 takes or less. I wanted it to feel real, even the chorus was just a freestyle, but I never re-recorded it, some words aren't clear but I want it to be that way because, "Someday" is unknown to us, but we know it's coming, so the words "Someday" were mixed to make them most audible out of all the words in the chorus. The song was made in 2 days and taught me that I need to knuckle down and just fill out gaps in a song before getting too excited by another idea.

Just Like Me (DEMO)

Song created in the wake of a difficult time in my life.
I made sure to turn to a greater power when I needed it most, to stop asking myself questions and to just understand that, "That's How the Good Lord Works".

During production of this track I ended a 2.5 year relationship and lost my grandma.

Fun fact: The show where I first performed it was a week and a half after the breakup and there's a specific line, "Tryna see my woman in 2020 for dinner", and you can hear my voice crack during the performance on my Instagram page because it took so much to really keep that line, and I thought of changing it but this is a LANDMARK of my life, and a time ALL OF YOU who were at that show shared.

These events pushed me to create this universe for you, and I will continue bringing you these "unfamiliar familiarities" until I DIE, this is the start of an array of singles throughout this year, I hope you enjoy the madness that ensues.
