Mood Exhibit is the sound expression outlet for Robert Salchak. Exploring the genres of electronic, post classical, world instrumental, and melody laced soundtrack styles. The music of ME has a strong emphasis on visual texture and emotion.

Based on collaborative song writing in the early 80s and a few studio projects over the years. We are reunited to create new projects after taken a longer break.

Update:
In the summer of 2022, my dear old friend Mick and longtime musical companion died of cancer.

I have agreed with him that I will continue to run our site in his spirit. Our amazing, unique music will live on forever.

AiMee Pickman isn't my real name, it's a pseudonym. I've been producing music for a few years but never put any of it online before. I'll be adding tracks every few days, starting with the older material first... it's a schizo mixture of apocalyptic, cosmic horror and introspective real life themed material across a variety of music genres and styles and also instrumental pieces. We produce versions of the songs in a variety of styles to keep things interesting for ourselves (myself and my production guys) and to allow us to explore the different contexts and perceptions a few subtle changes can often create...

I like Soundcloud because it's a friendly community for sharing our music. When I comment on a track, I like to say something about how you wrote, performed or produced it. I have musically diverse interests: pop/rock, jazz-rock fusion, prog & alternative rock, blues, classical and neoclassical, to mention some. Main instrument is guitar; I'm not a keyboard player or singer, but hopefully I can do enough there to make my work sound ok.

CountessM had, originally, began as a spoken word artist and lyricist, of whom, worked with European Dark Ambient/Dark Media artists in reciting original narrative prose for their instrumental work, until, she had gained the stamina and confidence for doing vocal singing, once again, after several years of being dormant from the world of music. CountessM wasn’t always a narrator. She was deemed, at one time, “Diva” material, in light opera, however, due to smoking, in her latter years, she had lost her falsetto and much of her vibrato ability and had adapted to a monotonous style of singing so she had gotten into R&B. Then years later, she had sang in a very low alto voice which had brought her, much notably,  a decent following. She had reached age 65 before long and had lost her ability again so she’d picked up working with pads and samples of sounds and, soon thereof, she had discovered that she possessed a knack for creating music for loops and samples, with the use of various music apps and such.
