The obstacle course was awash with competitors. They sprawled recklessly amongst the long grass looking for a way out. These were times of desperation and struggle, some thought it to be too hard whilst others believed it simply ludicrous. The course had gathered notoriety amongst a worldwide collective of fierce combatants. For some it was just another day at the training ground whilst for others this might be the final hurdle to break their backs. 

Holding Hands is a newly launched record label focussed on releasing club destined tracks without any of the pretentious nonsense which can sometimes accompany doing so.

The museum was full of beautiful old artefacts and ancient relics from an era long ago. Dinosaurs hung disjointed by scattered bones upon string from the ceiling, a shell of the great noble monsters they once were in another life whilst a marble sweeping staircase led upwards towards ancient paintings and ornaments. The empty hall was deadly silent under the peace of the midnight hour, only the tapping of feet upon the floor could be heard in the depth of history. It was delicate and pristine. 

Tech Startup is a newly founded label run from Seattle, it is being distributed by Rubadub and the first release is a strong statement of intent from a new face who produces under the guise of A Psychic Yes.

"'Discontinuity' as a release is my attempt at trying to be unpredictable with electronic music, even though all tracks are based on loops. The main focus of this EP is trying to approach a more cleaner sound while maintaining a warm comforting dreamscape. These songs have been inspired by clear water and the sounds of insects. All tracks of this release have hidden structures, so if you listen closely to certain components you hopefully get your brain zapped in a good stimulating way.

This EP is a charity release and all profit will be donated to the ongoing crisis of Yemen through Finn Church Aid."
