R_TIST is one of Vienna’s forward-thinking and well booked artists in electronic music today. He was born and raised in the suburbs of Vienna and was exposed to music at an early age. Playing piano during elementary school and experiencing the vibrant electronic music scene of Vienna as a teenager, R_TIST developed a distinct taste and fascination for electronic music. 

Impressed by the sound of Vienna’s lively club scene, collecting contemporary music collection became a passion of R_TIST and he was finally playing his own sets at private parties. Shortly after, he managed to become more popular in the club scene, started to build his own community and was able perform in front of bigger crowds. His unique production style and arrangement popularized a then small genre of electronic music. After numerous successful events, he provides today professional DJ entertainment in the city’s most famous venues such as Flex, Volksgarten, Pratersauna, Camera Club and Auslage. Moreover, he was DJing on several huge events including Beatpatrol in St. Pölten, the Ibiza-fucking Island in Baden, the Sun-Event in Czech Republic and the opening of the Streetparade Closing Party, where he rocked the audience.

Nowadays his pumping vibes and rhythmic baselines attract more and more people to get down on the dance floors. Due to his bumping sound and individual EFX sounds on stage, the DJ-Label JungeWilde keeps a watchful eye on the development of R_TIST. Meanwhile, he is considered as one of the closing acts of Vienna’s nightlife. This year was a huge success for him and you can be sure that he is going to continue entertaining the party people in Vienna.
