Mel is a resident of the collective @discothequebh from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and the curator of Discoteca Fantástica, an electronic music podcast on Discotheque's Soundcloud since 2017. Her experience as an electronic music DJ started in 2015. Her musical trajectory goes through singing and performing with instruments used in meditation through mantras, such as the harmonium and percussive cymbals.
PhD in Visual Arts and music researcher, a diversity of references activate her expressive sound construction, providing vibrant sets with groovy influence and the presence of synths and vocals.
