This is the second of a five-set volume mix playlist that has come from the experiences of my 2022 and the vision I have for 2023.

This mix is solely influenced from the presence of Kizomba throughout my life. Whether it is Cape Verdean parties and weddings, or just dancing in the kitchen with my mum, Kizomba is there! My love for the genre really grew over the last few years after living in Lisbon and traveling to Cape Verde. I got the privilege to experience the music in a whole different environment which was touching and gave me a new perspective of the sound.

I decided to add a sprinkle of Afro Pop to create a new fusion of sounds that fit perfectly and add a slight familiar aspect to the mix.
