A quick thunderstorm I was able to capture on an early June night. Recorded in my front yard, so expect some distant traffic. Audio is completely unedited, so there will be some wind distortion and microphone bumps but those are pretty few and far between. A stereo file, recorded using "Tree Ears" (2 Clippy EM172 attached to a palm tree in my front yard).

I set out to create a soundscape that has elements of the natural world in it while also keeping with it a sense of artificialness. I wanted to craft a world and have that world really feel crafted, sonically.
