[BIO]:
Arnaud’s career dates back to 1990 when he began managing record shops and building what is now a huge archive of knowledge, taste and musical dedication to his name. His residency at Paris’s Queen and memorable sets around the world perfected Arnaud’s DJ skills, earning him his spot in the worldwide scene where he continues to this day to be a prominent figure. Since 2006 Arnaud lives in London where he is a regular DJ at Fabric since 15 years.
Arnaud runs Children Of Tomorrow since 2011, a label created by Emmanuel Ternois in 2008.

A timeless rawness is the main element of the label. Arnaud is releasing his own music and confirmed talents such as Terrence Dixon, Oscar Mulero, ROD, Jonas Kopp, Ryan Elliott, Samuli Kemppi, Zadig, Antigone, Tensal, Exium, Savas Pascalidis, Antonio De Angelis or Birth Of Frequency. Almost all the releases have been played or charted by artists such as Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, DVS1, Ben Sims, Rodhad, DJ Deep, Chris Liebing or Dave Clarke.
Together with his partners and colleagues Arnaud organises a series of Children Of Tomorrow events in London & abroad that focus on talent.

Since 1999 Arnaud produced different EP’s & remixes for Soma, Children of Tomorrow, Affin, Chronicle, Symbolism, Materia, Revolt, Emphatic Rec, Syncrophone, Black Codes Experiments , Cocoon, just to name few. Since 2013 Arnaud is also producing with Antonio De Angelis under Detect Audio’s alias.

Arnaud is one of the true veterans of the London underground music scene. Having been associated or played at every major techno party over the last ten years, Arnaud has kept himself at the very forefront of the scene.

The first artists to start our 2023 OR-invites series are Hannover's own Dxrvo & Ynk.

dxrvo is a producer and DJ from Hanover, Germany. He is a resident of Klub PAN Hannover and runs the label & event team 'SYNERGIE'. There you can find a weekly podcast series with international DJ's. There are also EPs and album releases. dxrvo describes his style as hypnotic, minimalist groovy techno. He likes to play fast but at the moment he also likes to mix in some hard groove and ghetto house.
Yannek a.k.a. Ynk is 22 years old and a DJ from near Hanover, Germany. He is part of the Collective SYNERGIE and also a resident at Klub PAN in Hanover. 
He found his love for records 3 years ago and has made it his passion. The style of music he represents is diverse. Originally, he comes from the hard techno scene but has recently discovered groovy and hard groove sounds for himself. So it's a colorful mix that Ynk represents and he is always looking for new sounds and mixes.
dxrvo and Ynk take you on a hypnotic journey with this 107min mix full of driving rolling beats with lots of percussion.

"Punk is more an attitude than a style of music. And I think that techno is way more punk than punk." The Spanish DJ discusses the ethos of the underground, vinyl DJing and more on this week's Exchange from AVA Festival.

Héctor Oaks relocated from his hometown of Madrid to study at "Berlin University"—the clubs, record stores and underground parties that would shape his career as an artist. After once famously saying he could "live in peace" if he could play Berghain just once, the techno DJ has since graced the institution's dance floor multiple times and earned residencies at Herrensauna and Bassiani. Now one of a handful of in-demand, vinyl-only DJs, he's also a prolific artist and the head of two labels, KAOS and OAKS.

What makes Oaks especially interesting as an interview subject, though, isn't his newfound popularity, but the underlying ethos that drives his music career. A self-described "techno punk," he reflects on what happens to the punk ethos around the underground once the underground becomes mainstream. "When you see that you've worked for the underground and then the underground becomes pop, do you want to fight against it, or do you want to be part of it?" he asks. "We're not only carrying the music, but we're carrying the values."

In this interview, Oaks also talks about the art of playing vinyl, his new hip-hop project, working for the now-defunct Record Loft and his forthcoming album and live show. Listen to the episode in full.
