During the recording of Sound of Ancient World #5, I went through a powerful internal process—a dance with my own fear. Fear of trying new things. Fear of breaking patterns.
So I did it anyway.

I experimented with new effects, unexpected transitions, and tempo shifts that challenged my comfort zone. I let go of control and trusted the rhythm.

This 4-hour journey explores Arabian and Turkish-inspired textures, deep and hypnotic grooves, and moments of raw sonic courage. It’s intense, grounded, and free.

Each set I release from now on carries not only music—but a piece of medicine I accessed while recording it. This one is about overcoming hesitation and daring to explore.

Ra-Sham is the sonic rebirth of Ramón Eduardo Rodríguez Clark — a Venezuelan-born DJ and music explorer with roots in Tech House, Deep, Chill and Tropical sounds, and a deep resonance with Afro and Organic House. With over two decades behind the decks, Ra-Sham has evolved from a charismatic party-starter into a channeler of energy and emotion through music.

The name Ra-Sham fuses Ra, the Egyptian god of the sun and light, with Sham, evoking the path of the shaman. It reflects his current journey: using rhythm as a tool for awakening, connection and self-healing. His sets are more than music—they are experiences designed to move both the body and the spirit.

He began his musical path in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, spinning at private school parties and learning turntablism at DJ Scratch Academy in NYC, founded by Jam Master Jay of Run DMC. He later played in clubs across Venezuela, Aruba, and beyond, from intimate private events to massive crowds of thousands.

Now based between Miami and Venezuela, Ra-Sham is stepping into a new phase of creative expression—one where music becomes ritual, and the dancefloor becomes a space of transformation.
