I thought I had lost this, so uploading it for posterity.

I made this more than ten years ago and I don't have the masters.

It's kind of cool in a bluesy, dubby kinda way.

The Genius of the Crowd

Recorded live at "Not The Oxford Literary Festival" at the Albion Beatnik Bookshop, Oxford 04/04/2011.  There were two short sets which I have concatenated.

The recording is frankly appalling, there are weird artefacts all through it and at times the mixer appears to totally lose it, but hey it captures the flavour.  In my defence I hadn't actually attempted to use the Alesis Palmtrack to record from the mixer previously and I clearly got the levels all wrong.

This was also my first outing with a very cut down rig consisting of an MPC 1000, DSI Mopho, Waldord blofeld, Jomox mbase11, Korg KP3 and a vestax filter thingy.

For technical interest this is the first thing I have encoded this with https://github.com/jonathanstowe/Audio-Encode-LameMP3 and found it way too slow for most uses, occasioning a rethink.

What A Work Is Man

Recording of the set at Alter Ega, Balham on 19 November 2009.  It's horribly clipped in parts and the mixer developed issues during the fourth number, but hey it captures the flavour of the set quite well :-)

Recorded totally live (admittedly it did take three takes) for the fabulous Electronic Propaganda show.

The set started out being new stuff but it turned into a retrospective of old stuff, remade in a different way

Electronic Propaganda - 2013-06-04

I made the nucleus of this as demonstration of making sample based music with custom software written in Perl for the London Perl Workshop in 2007.  The original also had samples of The Kingsmen's Louie Louie in hence the name.

This version was created using the original sound generators captured into a DAW some time after.
