Rachel Bangs is Raquel Custódio’s pseudonym who is based on Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. She’s an autodidactic multi instrumentalist and her passion for music emerged at a tender age. She learnt how to play guitar at 13 years old. A few years later, she started to play the drums at 18 years old becoming one of the Palmers co-founder. The portuguese songwriter played in several venues such as Music Box and Maus Hábitos opening for bands such as Iceage and The Parkinsons.

After that, she started another project, Bar Lonely, during the pandemic time through Zoom. This was the time that she decided to start her solo career as Rachel Bangs.
