Stanford Psychology professor, Christine Blasey Ford, publicly alleged in 2018 that U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in the summer of 1982. She was sneered at by the Republican men at the hearing, then laughed at and publicly denigrated by the President of the United States. She had to go into hiding due to death threats. Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court. It broke my heart, so I wrote this song, entitled RISE, and recorded it with pianist, Paul Shilton at the Stratford studio of Jim Neill.
