This is a special song that I have sung at a number of weddings. The words are beautiful and remind me of everyone I love. I recorded this version (Acoustic Guitar (lead and rhythm), Vocals, Bass/Drum ideas) and sent it to Rob Thom who produced the track and added synth and made the bass and drum tracks lots better :)

Not being able to perform at the moment has forced me to channel my creative energies into recording some tracks including my brand new single ‘Against the tide’ - so here it is! Hope you all enjoy listening to it.
‘Against the tide’ was written amongst the lockdown chaos and the lyrics reflect this. The song is about frustrations about not being where you would like to be in life, but fighting to get there.

I am really proud as a non drummer to have written the drum part to this track as well as vocals, guitar, keys and I played an instructive part with the Production/Bass and mandolin!

This is my first song produced by Drea Succi from Puzzle Maker Studios who is a huge producer on the UK Country music scene and his artists have won awards at the UK Country Music Awards. Also Tyler Spicer played Bass Guitar and Mandolin on this track - Tyler has played on tracks that have featured in the top 10 UK Country track charts and is an established Bass player in a number of Uk function and original Bands. So thank you to these talented guys!
