This tuning etude consists of 3 layers of 13-note sine-wave clouds: 1) 74.5 midi fundamental, 212.50-cent intervals; 2) 60 midi, 200-cent; 3) 47, 1.875.

This song is a journey through the 7 modes of the scale defined by the intervals 2-2-2-2-2-2-1. The scale is 13 semitones wide. It essentially alternates the whole tone scales c d e f# g# a# and db eb f g a b. The durations of the notes are derived from the 2-2-2-2-2-1 pattern, thus integrating the rhythm and pitch domains.

This song is a journey through the harmonies (3-voice) of the 7 modes of the scale defined by the intervals 2-2-2-2-2-2-1. The scale is 13 semitones wide. This eTude is a three-voice 10edo canonic chorale. Voices move stepwise.

This is the chorale O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden from Bach's Matthäuspassion. Every verse moves from order (four voices) to chaos (clusters). Voices (SATB) migrate from side to side, like a slow-motion procession of 100 choir members.

This is my reworking of Praise God to Whom all Blessings Flow. Each of the four voices (SATB) is played at a slightly different speed. This is very audible if you listen to the soprano and bass (highest and lowest) parts. The parts diverge the most at the beginning, then converge to unison at the end.

This is the opening to the Dies Irae with four-voice isorhythms.

The tuning is 17ed1900c, which yields 'semitones' of 111.76 cents. The melody is 17 semitones arranged in mirror symmetry. (Clearly audible with the first 17 notes.) The form is a set of 18 musical haikus, each 5-7-5 notes. Chords are made of minor and major thirds in the 17ed1900c tuning. The 5-7-5 melodic units follow a simple permutation scheme, a la 'ringing the changes.' The piece unfolds like a flower then folds back in. No big whoop!
