Their own label, built with no creative boundaries, Radau is a playground where the Berlin quartet remove all limits and expectations and dig deep into the mindset and experimentalism that united them in the first place. 'Frequent Tendencies' sets the scene perfectly. A loosely hewn sliver of emotion constructed just a smidgeon off grid, there's a natural momentum as we're thrust deep inside a vociferous synth hook that rises unapologetically, gradually taking us to a surprise pivot. From here the articulation switches, a whole layer of weight and emphasis on the riff opens up and your crowd won't just elevate, they'll levitate. With plenty more music due on both Radau and beyond, it seems GHEIST's impeccable acceleration over the last two years will continue for a long time to come.

GHEIST - Frequent Tendencies

After their wildly successful debut release “Frequent Tendencies" on their own Radau label, GHEIST is back with a brand new single “Ueberall”. It follows them being on plenty of huge party line-ups and as such they are continuing to make waves in the underground with their fresh sound, as well as having announced their label as one to watch. “Ueberall" is a reflective look back at the last few months. It is a review of all the positive feelings and emotions from dance floors out on tour and here at home in Berlin. It’s a colourful, feel good house track with great chords and cosmic keys all making for a deep, emotional groove that will leave you feeling refreshed and uplifting. From their base at the famous Riverside studios and regular performances at Watergate, GHEIST are crafting a delicate but powerful style, and definitely ones to keep an eye on

 About 
It’s safe to say 2019 was the breakthrough year for GHEIST. It was marked by a series of festival and club gigs and a number of stellar releases on imprints like Solomun’s Diynamic and Watergate Records.

The Berlin-based band are kicking off 2020 with their first collaboration on their own imprint, Radau, welcoming New Zealand native Bayker to their label. The two-track EP comes two years after their vocal-heavy joint effort ‘Salvation’ was released via Exploited, instantly becoming a fan favourite. 

Two years later, Bayker and GHEIST get together in the studio again to continue where they left off with ‘Salvation’. The result is a two-track EP that bears the unmistakable GHEIST stamp, with Bayker adding a darker twist to the band’s signature dreamy, melancholic productions.

Dubbed ‘Howl’, the EP opens up with ‘Echoes’ is a four-to-the-floor beckoning to get down on the dancefloor that sees GHEIST step out of their comfort zone to show a new side to their masterfully crafted sound. In contrast, the title track is soaked in GHEIST’s dreamy melodic aesthetic. However, having Bayker on board adds a darker energy to the mix that turns the tune into an absolute dancefloor weapon. 

Radau will release ‘Howl EP’ digitally on February 28.
