This weekend we are in Argentina 🇦🇷 with Alberto Blanco. Early on in his childhood, he moved to Mar del Plata were stayed until after his adolescence. His enthusiasm for both modern and electronic music gave way to a rather large and varied collection of discs. At the start of the millennium, his main influences were Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Steve Lawler, Dave Seaman, Sander Kleinenberg, Timo Mass, Danny Howells among other great leaders of the electronic music scene. His interests and path towards his destiny began to define themselves in 2006 which lead him to roots of electronic music when he moved to Ibiza where he began his career as a formal DJ participating in various private events. As 2012 arrives, Alberto started producing with Graziano Raffa and along with Hernan Cattaneo's support of their productions, not only on his radio show "Resident," but also in the largest international clubs, they signed their first EP with Norman H’s distinguished label, Stripped Records (UK). During this time, Alberto meets and begins producing with Matias Vila, they then sign with Sangria Recordings to eventually become finalist of the Remix Contest for "dPen- Vasanizome," which was released by the major label Sound Avenue. They also remixed Granziano Raffa, for the famous label Liquid Grooves, and a remix of Matias Fernandez Vina on Underground Music Records. As we can see, 2012 has been a year full of great success for Alberto and we are sure that 2013 holds great promise with the start of many more exciting projects not only as a DJ and as a producer as well. This weekend we are with duo from Hungary 🇭🇺 who met each other in UK, became mates, and together they formed Monofade in 2013. They created music just for fun that time, when they realized it is going efficiently together. By the end of their first production they became obsessed, then there was no stopping. They have plenty of releases now on worldwide record labels such as (Dear Deer – just signed, Capital Heaven, HMWL, Street King, etc): 
Monofade’s songs have been played by famous DJs worldwide: John Digweed, Dylhen, Jay Lumen, M.E.M.O, just to mention a few.
As a DJ duo, their audiences always expect unique storytelling between deep and melodic house, techno, and electronica. Monofade showcases are always forward-thinking, vocal dance floor-centric as well. They had Gigs in Hungary mostly: Crusin (Boatparty on Danube) - Budapest, CAT Budapest, DFFRNTroom Budapest, Plázs Siófok – Lake Balaton, Brandus Budapest, Cabana Garden - Szombathely, Astra Club – Hodmezovasarhely, Daydreaming Festival Hungary, etc. However, they have just been  booked to Vienna (Himmel & Wasser festival). 
DJs palyed with: Anthony Pappa, Moonwalk, Fernando Ferreyra, Marcelo Vasami, Basti Grub, Christian Hornbostel, Vanessa Sukowski, etc.

DejaVu with Alfonso Muchacho

Our new episode of the Blankhaus Podcast Series delivered by @samthetard

He is an Industrial/transportation designer based in Chicago. His full time job involves designing everything from cars, boats and RV’s to furniture and household products. He attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit where studied transportation design and fell in love with the city and its rich electronic music scene. Ever since a friend and coworker introduced him to DJing and mixing, he have been making mixes in his spare time expressing feelings and musical tastes of the moment. 

This mix is a snapshot of a more minimal and dubby sound that Sam loves to play when he's at home listening to records. To cap off the mix, Sam included one of our latest releases, an absolutely gorgeous 8 minute roller from Conoley Ospovat that perfectly encapsulates his sonic pallet; groovy, melodic and restrained.

Bio:

For me the art is about sculpting a journey that's unique and evolves in that moment via the vibe radiated by the people on the dancefloor. To create such a special journey, I love to utilize as much freedom as is available today. So, people hear music they might know but somehow sounds different. For me it's the goal to create the unique atmosphere I strive to deliver. It's necessary for me to have dedicated knobs and faders at my fingertips so I can easily manipulate sounds, loops and samples. As an older generation DJ I grew up without the musical boundaries. This day and age music is often defined and played according to genre. I feel less bound to a typical genre, because great music is found throughout the entire dance spectrum. Whether it has an organic deep house vibe, or a melodic techno feel, at the right moment in time it can all be played if it compliments each other.

It is my purpose in life to show the world that a DJ brings something special to the dancefloor. Let people experience a unique journey told by the tracks in the way I incorporate them for that specific story. Where people will fully submerge and be a part of that story while possibly even dancing on music outside their comfort zone without even noticing.

Twenty nine episode of B2B channel. This time with… Birdsong!!! Another great and exquisite DJ, of whom I was hooked from the first time I heard him. He has been other great reference for me inside the world of house music in Mixcloud, with these fantastic selections mixed with a lot of talent and good taste, able to combine different rhythms with a lot of quality. So I am very grateful that he have accepted this collaboration with me. I must highlight his magnified session full of big moments and great tracks, like the one with which the session started and a lot of more. • First techno and house parties in 1993, at that time still in Delmenhorst, my home town in the outskirts (basement club at the time when the girls were still dancing on the boxes)

• Party events in the port of Bremen as a resident in the DJ lineup (20 Mark entry, Guarana drinks free)
• From 2003 onwards, so to speak, on maternity leave, family commitments and professional work as an electrical engineer and application developer caused me to stop professional DJ work
• During this time there were nevertheless numerous livesets in the private sector
• from 2015 again various sets under the motto "hanging up in strange places" e.g. my favorite hairdresser, old people's home, psychiatry, prison, laundromat, open air on the Weser !!!
