Blessed in the three worlds is the selfless divine love of the Gopîs of Braja, bound by which, the Supreme Lord Šhrï Krishna forgets Himself!
He, who has created infinite material universes, is known in Braja as the Son of the cowherd, Nanda. The same Supreme Lord, who governs the entire material manifestation with a tiny fraction of His personal power yogamäyã, is being taught by His mother, Yašhodä how to walk in her courtyard, holding onto His little fingers with her hand. He, who does not bestow a glance of mercy on Brahma, Vishnu and Šhañkara, after they perform penance for countless ages, is being tossed out of the lap of His Mother YaŠhodã and being made to cry! The One whose names, glories and pastimes are utilised by devotees to cut the shackles of material bondage in an instant, is being tied to a grinding mortar by Mother Yašhodä, who is terrifying Him with a thin stick in her hand! He, whose extraordinary deluding power, mäyä makes even personalities like Närada forget their knowledge, is seen crying in front of the Gopîs in order to retrieve His flute from them.
Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "He, whose maidservant is the all-powerful mäyã that makes this entire world dance to her tune, but who fearfully watches the movements of her Lord's eyebrows to do His will, has become the purchased slave" of Šhrî Rãdhã, who makes Him massage Her feet!"
