It is glorifying Kaliyuga in this way but in an entire day of Brahma, out of the many, many Kaliyugas that come, only one time does Krishna personally reveal his pastimes of Vrindavan with Sri Radharani and the gopas and the gopis. And only once in a day of Brahma, among many Kaliyugas, does Radharani and Krishna come in one form rādhā-bhāva-dyuti-suvalitaṁ naumi kṛṣṇa-svarūpam for the purpose of not only giving love for Krishna but giving the opportunity to love Krishna as is eternally experienced by the residents of Vrindavan.

To the extent we taste a drop of love for Krishna, to that extent we feel happiness and a compassion, where it's painful to see anyone without that. And a devotee has no false ego, to impose something on others. A devotee sees that this is the true potential within all people. A devotee wants to remind us of what we have forgotten that we're all part of Krishna and that loving service to Krishna is our dharma, our Sanatan dharma. And in this age of Kali, simply by taking shelter of Krishna, through the chanting of his names, that love is awakened but yet, practically no one was taking this message seriously, everyone was so distracted, distracted by scholarship, distracted by the pursuit of wealth and followers and even happy people were trying to just protect their ever changing fleeting happiness and people who realized the sufferings that are imminent in this world, they were striving for impersonal liberation.

The intoxication of spiritual happiness that was showering upon everyone is something that's inconceivable. Just by speaking about this pastime, just by hearing about this pastime with a sincere and faithful heart, we can be transformed forever. As they were all singing and dancing together, Advaita's sons were rejoined with him. Jahnava Devi was seeing her beloved Nityananda again, after so many years. In the Bhakti Ratnakar and Narottam Vilas, this beautiful story is described in great detail. And then, they all disappeared and everyone could understand that the lord in separation, they were forever connected with Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. And then Jahnava Devi, in a simple way, she cooked for all the devotees and arranged the serving of all the devotees. And she arranged a Holi festival, where everyone would see the deities installed beautifully, sprinkled with natural colors. And this was the first Gaura Purnima festival.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu brought the whole world together ratha yatra to join hearts, while we chant the holy names:  hare kṛṣṇa hare kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa kṛṣṇa hare hare, hare rāma hare rāma rāma rāma hare hare. And Srila Prabhupada, in the spirit of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s supreme compassion, he brought the mission of pure devotional service, the spirit of Vrindavan throughout the world and he established ratha yatra’s not only in almost every city, but in places like Mumbai, so many ratha yatrass in cities and in doing so, bringing all of us together to chant, to dance, to hear Hari katha, to take Krishna’s prasadam.

We see in their house very beautiful deities of Gaur Nitai, Jagannath, Baladev, Subhadra, very nice sadhana. Not only do they perform their occupational duties in a very honest and exemplary way, but also, they come to the temple practically every day, eager to chant, worship the deities, render service, always eager to serve vaisnavas, invite them to their homes; devotional service, in any varna or any asrama, is the perfection of life. Therefore, sincere and honest devotees are not so concerned with simply the external appearances, but they are concerned with the aspiration that a person has in life. If people are living by the regulative principles, according to their varna and asrama, with the motivation of devotional service, that is worshipable by everyone.

Radhanath Swami is a Vaishnava sanyassi (a monk in a Krishna-bhakti lineage) and teacher of the devotional path of Bhakti-yoga. He is author of The Journey Home, a memoir of his search for spiritual truth. His teachings draw from the sacred texts of India such as The Bhagavad-gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and Ramayana, and aim to reveal the practical application of the sacred traditions, while focusing on the shared essence which unites apparently disparate religious or spiritual paths.
Born Richard Slavin, on December 7, 1950, in his teens he came to confront a deep sense of alienation from suburban Chicago life and the civil injustices of mid-century America. At the age of nineteen, while on a summer trip to Europe, his internal struggles culminated in a commitment to search for God wherever it might lead him. Meditating on the Isle of Crete, he felt a supernatural calling and the next morning set off alone to find spiritual India. The Journey Home documents his odyssey as a penniless hitch-hiker though Greece, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and finally India. There he lived as a wandering ascetic, first amongst the forest dwelling Himalayan yogis and later amongst a wide variety of gurus and spiritual practitioners throughout India and Nepal. Ultimately, he was led to the holy town of Vrindavan, where he found his path amongst the Bhakti-yogis.
In Vrindavan he found the teacher he was searching for in A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896-1977) the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), and representative of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, (the Krishna-bhakti tradition stemming from the 16th century mystic avatar Sri Chaitanya). In choosing Bhaktivedanta Swami, as his guru, Radhanath Swami felt compelled to shear his matted locks and reenter Western society with a mission to share the sacred wisdom he had received. This return exemplifies the form of devotional yoga which is at the heart of Radhanath Swami’s teachings, a spiritual practice expressed as tangible action meant to bring about personal fulfillment and benefit the world.
At the the age of 31 he took the monastic vows of a Vaishnava sanyassin and became known as Radhanath Swami.
Today Radhanath Swami travels regularly throughout India, Europe and North America, sharing the teachings of Bhakti-yoga. He resides much of the year at the Radha Gopinath Ashram in Chowpatty, Mumbai. For the past twenty-five years he has guided the community’s development and has directed a number of acclaimed social action projects including Midday Meals, which daily serves more than 260,000 plates of sanctified vegetarian food to the children of the slums of Mumbai. He has also worked to establish missionary hospitals and eye camps, eco-friendly farms, schools and ashrams, an orphanage, and a number of emergency relief programs throughout India.
