Swift newcomer Tommier Joyson makes his debut on Hot Creations this July with his first single, Clap Your Hands. On the B side, Eastenderz boss East End Dubs makes a long-awaited return to the label as remixer. 

The title track leads the charge. Manifesting as a fast-paced, techy-leaning number, reverberating vocals reside atop driving kick-hat combos whilst whispering hats create a signature four-four rhythm. East End Dubs’ remix completes proceedings, showcasing the UK-minimal sound with which he’s become best known. Stripped-back, looping and built for the late-night hours, it’s a seven minute cut that you can’t help but bounce to. 

Tommier Joyson may be new to the global electronic music circuit but the quality of his sound speaks for itself. The rising talent has landed his first-ever release on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, a remarkable feat that sets the tone for a standout 2021. Eastenderz label head East End Dubs has become one of the most in-demand artists in recent years. A prolific producer, his work has found a welcome home on Fuse, Hot Creations and many more besides, whilst regular performances across Ibiza and beyond have cemented his reputation as an international talent.

GPU Panic serves up the fantastic final taster EP from the Detroit Gets Physical compilation, which will be released in October. 

GPU Panic is Lisbon's Tomé Ribeiro, a graduate of Montreal's 2016 RMBA and producer of forward-thinking electronic sounds. He is an established live artist who seamlessly mixes his piano and synth playing skills at the likes of the Neopop Festival. He has released on Discotexas and is a founding member of the Portuguese band Salto. 

The hard-hitting drums and wiry electronics of 'Oh Really' open up in a futuristic fashion. Sleek synths weave in and out to make for a beautiful techno sound that is both emotive and physical. The sublime 'Closer' is a scintillating track with a unique techno style and many layers of evocative synths that race to the heavens and bring constant movement and theatre. This lush trio of tracks closes with the punchy, high-speed drum programming of 'Getting Time' which is underpinned by grinding bass. The keys and chords are bright and kaleidoscopic and rain down as if being generated by AI. 

The Wrong Club is another irresistible EP of authentic house music.

Collective States strike first with two joints tapping in a similar seam; breaking the EP in, “Chemical Reaction” a collaboration with female duo Pablo:Rita that reels out as a proper warehouse-oriented epic - steeped in an effervescing bath of Moroder-esque bass surges, neck-snapping breaks and swelling prog motifs. Then comes the even nervier “Resurrection”, a hard-hitting comber of retro-futuristic, dark wave-laced frenzy, sure to take dance floors by storm. Nightly to the core, darbukkahs and stealth sonar bleeps blazing under the sign of stroboscopic absolution. 

Dwelling the flip are two slices of slo-cooked, Afro funk-infused deep house by Melburnian duo, The Journey. The original mix of “Winter” lets the drums do the talk, hi-hats and snares beating a feverish tempo as iridescent pads scud over untamed beds of smoking bass and shamanic incantations billowing out in the Aether. A vibrantly immersive tableau to carefreely wander in, interspersed with lush webs of rainforest field recordings, kalimba notes and poignant tribal chants, Bebetta’s reshape eventually guides us out for a much emotional ride, from exhilarating heights down the wilder recesses of uncharted mystic territories.

Talented production duo Paul C & Paolo Martini bring their Italian flavour to the dancefloor as they are warmly welcomed back on Hot Creations with ‘Pinball’.

Title track ‘Pinball’ hits with a solid bassline, intricate percussion and a dynamic ghetto style vocal. On the flip ‘Woom’ works up a cunning groove, spell-binding melody and strong synths build towards an epic breakdown. Both tracks emulate Paul C & Paolo Martini’s distinctive sound and are primed for bringing heat to the night.

With a combined career that spans 40 years in the business, Paul C & Paolo Martini are 2 of the hottest Italians producers around. As part of Bini & Martini, Paolo Martini was without doubt one of the most prolific house producers at the turn of the century, touring the globe and lending their remix talents to major dance labels like Defected, Strictly Rhythm, AM:PM, Twisted, Universal and many of the worlds biggest pop acts such Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, Terence Trent D'Arby, Murk, Armand Van Helden and many many more. Paul C has honed his production skills since the mid '90's and his energetic brand of tech-house has seen him release on a host influential labels.
