Somewhere near the end of 2015, Meyke Pietjouw (Rotyoung) started her DJ career in her small hometown. Her love and affection for tech-house and techno combined with her knowledge of the Rotterdam industry made her popular in a short period of time. Her first ever gig took place in the beloved Factory 010 and from that moment, Rotyoung’s career kept moving forward.

Her sound is influenced by Hot Since ’82, Mark Knight, Sidney Charles, Pan-Pot and Joran van Pol. After playing in venues such as Toffler (Rotterdam), 013 (Tilburg) and The Marquee (Essen, BE), she is now busy finding her way in the studio. Be prepared, because Rotyoung is definitely one to keep an eye out on!
