"Jack Your Body" was Steve "Silk" Hurley's first song released under his name as the artist, but not really the first (or the last) he released. It became one of the landmark records in the history of House music. Written and produced by Hurley, Jack Your Body became a major hit on the UK singles chart, reaching #1 for two weeks in January and February 1987. This was the UK's first house music #1, showing it was possible for house music to cross over. It paved the way for the acid house sound popular there during the late 1980s.

Now, with the new remixes of "Jack Your Body" years later by (Doorly, Ki Creighton & Olav Basoski), Steve "Silk" Hurley collaborates with today's hottest DJ / Remixers  in the dance world to reinvent the sound that made Chicago and House Music famous. In 1992 two souls from San Francisco descended on Austin. Homesick, we wanted to recreate the dance scene we loved from home and so we searched the dance floor of the 404 and many other places looking for the true believers of the dance, passing out 3x5 index cards with a time and place rubberstamped on them.  And so raDiANCe was born one hot summer night in a loading dock under what is now the city hall complex, a true come-unity of djs, vjs, interactive video artists, roboticists, dancers and cyberfreaks. This was our music.
