In January 2013 the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) threatened to sue The Radiance Foundation (a non-profit charity) and its co-founder, Ryan Bomberger, for parodying the organization's name in light of its radical support of abortion. The parody appeared in a news article written by Bomberger. It is non-commercial speech which is protected by the First Amendment. The deeply critical article laid out how disconnected the far-left NAACP has become, especially considering its official position declaring abortion as a right. Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion chain, has been an annual corporate sponsor of the NAACP's multi-million dollar conventions. This freespeech lawsuit was heard by 3 Justices of the 4th Circuit. This is the audio from that March 25, 2015. We are hoping for a ruling within the next 60 days.
