Choke Chain, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, delivers a mix of pounding EBM and Industrial, Goth/Deathrock, and some Punk tracks. All three genres are representative of his style of dark and aggressive EBM/Industrial, a product of his time growing up in Punk bands and lifelong interest in the Goth scene. With releases on Reclusion Records, OSM Tapes and Phage Tapes, Choke Chain explores his inner darkness, expelling it from within himself.

BORGBORG is an electronic music producer and DJ based in 
Düsseldorf, Germany.Utilizing field recordings and experimental techniques, she explores the boundaries between sound and sex. Her current musical work is focused on a collaborative soundtrack for an interactive audio-visual radio play by morphing field 
recordings and vocals to fractals and polyrhythmic patterns.
On her journey as a DJ she encounters various styles of electronic music, especially bouncy techno, harsh industrial, deconstructed hypnotic vibes and noisy drone soundscapes.
She is a member of About Repetition e.V., a group of artists 
dedicated to the research of repetition through artistic means, 
collaborating with a wide range of other collectives across Europe.

MELANIA . is a Berlin based artist who’s musical adventure began by the end of 2014. Since then she regulary plays Europe-wide and well known clubs like Tresor, about:blank, IFZ, Arena Club or last but not least, Suicide Circus, where she is a frequent host of the widely known Rituals series. Moreover she’s a co-founder of the project VERZERRUNG, which is mainly focused on the Industrial/Wave party series at the the renowned Project Lab in Poznan (Poland) besides that she is a frequent resident at Hirscheneck in Basel (Switzerland).
Above all that, Melania is firmly focused on her own productions, which so far have been released on aufnahme+wiedergabe, Oraculo Records, Subsist Records, Labrynth and Round.
Her eclectic sets are mostly based on energetic Industrial, Techno, EBM, Electro, Rhytmic Noise and Experimental. Means heavy genres which she periodically combines with a creative touch of uplifting and emotional melodies/vocals or unexpected change of atmosphere. Her selection is completely focused on her feeling, thereby it stays beyond limitations to a specific genre.
This sound evokes what is beyond the words, reaches directly to the heart and unleashes the soul. Each of her sets is a story with a complex plot, keeping her audience in constant suspense and anticipation. Her unique vibe relies on unpredictability and constantly being on the move.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the German dj & producer Udo Wiessmann (HANDS / Winterkaelte).

UDO WIESSMANN started to produce electronic music as early as the late 1980s.
He founded the electronic label HANDS and also his first solo project ATRUM in 1990, before initiating WINTERKÄLTE in 1991, now legendary industrial pioneers of club music saturated with distortion and noise.
With WINTERKÄLTE, Udo Wiessmann has performed regulary on most essential industrial festivals in Europe like Maschinenfest, WGT, FORMS OF HANDS but also played many shows in Europe, North America and Asia.
His last DJ sets at Drøne, Maschinenfest, Metamorphosis, Discipline x Kerosene, HANDS Label Night Berlin, Infest or WGT Noise Floors were a kicking and adventurous dance floor experience between techno and rhythm’n’noise mashed up with industrial and assorted darkness.

There’s no denial the Belgians have a fond taste for the darker side of the spectrum. There are not many artist’s which prove this as much as Radical G. With his strong dedication to dark EBM sounds he delivered a special mix for our weekly podcast series and once again is presenting the impressive atmosphere and groove of the genre in his very own way.

Years of Denial [Pinkman / Veyl, UK]

Years of Denial is the alter-face of French musician / DJ / producer Jerome Tcherneyan and Czech performance artist / DJ / producer Barkosina Hanusova. With the use of hardware combined with vocals and a plethora of dub devices, YOD are re-visiting the dark corner of Post Punk, Industrial music movement and Rave culture. 

Their live Electro performances fuse repetitive beats and pulsating arpeggios with heavy electronics and spacey psychedelic sonic treatment.
Barkosina’s voice echoes and oscillates against snares, profound and wounded at once. Her dark romanticism and narrative poetry take us to unknown yet familiar places. The duet operate on the dance floor without anesthetic creating an excursive electrifying shady atmosphere.

Both influenced by Isolationism, they also perform improvised cinematic Ambient sets with the use of modular synths and processed vocals. They draw upon the darker and profound stimulus of experimental music, creating an immersive and dramatic imaginative space.
