Here is a recording of a zine, written by food service worker within a collective of anonymous American workers under the name of Prole.info, details the experience and structure of restaurant work and why it should be abolished. I really enjoy this piece because its humorous and engaging but also it shows just how universally horrible the restaurant industry is. Anyone who has worked in food service will be able to relate to this heavily.

Discourse on Colonialism, an essay published in Paris in 1950, by Aime Cesaire detailing the effects, misguidance, consequences, history, and hypocrisy of European colonialism. This milestone piece ends with a very important note: a warning to the reader of the upcoming colonial power that is America. Reading this with the hindsight of 2020, pay attention to the language that is used by the several European philosophers to justify and defend colonialism. Think of the similarities between what they are saying and the language that American media uses when discussing the Iraq War, Syria, "the starving children in Africa", Afghanistan, Arab Spring, etc (see: white man's burden, voluntourism, white savior complex).

The essay was originally published in French then translated so there's lots of words that cannot be translated so I apologize for the mispronunciation. This collection of articles and speeches is written by Suzanne Weiss, a Canadian-based Jewish organizer. Weiss is a surviver of the Holocaust and lost her mother tragically to Hitler's Auschwitz. She was saved from that same fate by anti-Nazi resistance fighters. She has dedicated her life to fighting for the liberation of other oppressed peoples, namely the Palestinian people. She is a member of two anti-Zionist groups, Not In Our Name: Jewish Voices Against Zionism and the Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid.

This collection walks the reader through the weaponization of the Holocaust, the true enemy that is capitalism and imperialism, and the instances of solidarity expressed towards the Palestinian people.
