Following on from a exciting few years for the Reggae Roast crew, where they’ve built their own custom heavyweight Soundsystem, headlined festivals and club nights all over the world & released a string of critically acclaimed singles, they are proud to present their first feature length artist album from longtime collaborator and integral part of the Reggae Roast family, Adam Prescott.

‘Warrior’ kicks off with the title track from UK veteran and all round lyrics machine Brother Culture, who, over a steppers style riddim chants militantly about Rastafari. The LP continues with notable features from Parly B, Charlie P, Donovan Kingjay & Nottingham UK Hip-Hop legend, Karizma. In a time where
many producers stick to one particular sound, Adam showcases his variable style to full effect throughout ensuring the listener’s full attention until the very last note.

Nottingham's own Adam Prescott is one the most exciting new producers in the UK Digital Roots scene. With support and guidance from Mark Iration (from the Leeds based Iration Steppas), Adam has quickly established himself as one of the key players in the re-emergence of British Reggae, with first class original songs featuring the likes of Cornel Campbell, Michael Prophet, Sugar Minot, Ranking Joe, Rod Taylor & Johnny Osbourne to name but a few. Add to that consistent play on BBC Radio One & Rinse FM & huge support from Sir David Rodigan, featuring Adam on his ‘Best Of British’ show on 1Xtra, Adam is becoming one of the hottest prospects in the revival of soundsystem music.

With a full year of crucial releases scheduled and soundsystem sessions booked worldwide, 2016 is set to be one of the best years so far for Reggae Roast so keep them eyes peeled!

Endless Sky - Ganja White Night

Vibronics and Cross Club Prague team up to bring you a new project that celebrates women in Reggae & Dub. “Woman On A Mission” is a new release featuring 8 female vocalists on 8 brand new Vibronics tracks. The album presents time-honoured Vibronics associates, Boney L (recording for the first time in 10 years), Nia Songbird, Vanya O and Saraléne , alongside first time collaborations with Trilla Jenna, Nanci Correia, Nish Wadada & Sis I-Leen. Each track vocal track effortlessly glides into an extend dub mix that showcases the sonic skills that Vibronics is known for. 
	10% of the profits of the album support the Women’s charity Womankind - Transforming the lives of Women & Girls Worldwide. https://www.womankind.org.uk/
	First release phase is set for International Women’s day 2018, where a day of live streaming on Facebook will announce the digital release of album alongside interviews, concerts, mixes & a host of other streamed events to celebrate and discuss women in Reggae & Dub. Phase 2 is luscious 2 X vinyl album & art-card package set for release in April. 
	A special website “Cultural Resistance” has been created as part of the project and Vibronics will be touring through 2018 with artists from “Woman On A Mission” .. so who are these women, and what are their missions?

Nia Songbird : A young vocalist from Leicester, already established through releases on the Vibronics / SCOOPS label Nia is a rising star in the reggae world, her soft & soulful vocals recall the classic days of UK reggae artists.

Wish Wadada : Straight out of Cape Verde island, Nish is well known in the reggae & sound system scene as a writer & performer. She has made a name for herself singing with a strong lyrical message for the the King Shiloh & Blackboard Jungle labels.

Boney L : The original Vibronics vocalist from 1997, Bony L’s recordings are highly sought after Dub gems, most notably , the Jah Shaka anthem ‘Jah Light Jah Love’. The illusive singer was coaxed back in the study for the 1st time in over 10 years to record for this extra special project.

Vanya O : Half of Zagreb heavy-dubbers Dubble, Vanya started out in the now legendary and first ever Croatia live dub outfit Radikal Dub Kolektiv. Here, her amazing melodica playing skills are highlighted alongside her sublime voice.

Trilla Jenna : Founder of the all-female Gold Label Sound System in 1989, Trilla Jenna stormed the recording world in the 1990s when she hooked up with Mad Professor for a series of classic Ariwa releases. Now firmly back on the scene, her deep & militant style is a must for this album.

Sis I-Leen ; Geneva based I-Leen came to prominence with her live & studio work for fellow locals OBF Sound System. She has since gone on to work with Massai Warrior, Dub Conductor & Ashant Selah. Her unique style mixes influences from R&B with Reggae & Dub.

Saraléne ; From Berlin, Saraléne has established herself as one of the cities leading live & studio reggae vocalists. As well as a string of releases for Vibronics, Saraléne has worked with fellow Berliners Ganjaman & Longfingah and a hots of top Sound Systems.

Nanci Correia ; Lisbon born, London raised, Nanci Correia is best known for being half of the duo Nanci & Phoebe, part of the extended  Congo Natty family. Her passionate & soulful voice clearly communicates her obsession with music with lyrics full of emotion.

Acclaimed Prague based Visual artist Jana Anna has created a hand-made vinyl cut porter of each vocalist. A series of special art cards will be available alongside the vinyl album release in April.

One of the brightest lights of the roots-influenced underground community for the past half-decade, Poland born Mateusz Miller has pioneered a compelling and unique fusion of sounds that encompass dub, reggae and dubstep under his Radikal Guru moniker. Inspired by an appreciation of soundsystem culture, his music has become synonymous with suffocating degrees of dread bassweight, vibrant and eclectic palettes of tone, and varying energy levels that cater for both dancefloor focussed ruckus and for more meditative listening. Heavily influenced by the likes of King Tubby and Scientist, Matt first gained worldwide acclaim and recognition through a string of killer vinyl releases on leading reggae/dubstep imprint Dubbed Out, before forming a creative partnership with fellow label Moonshine Recordings where he has gone on to cement his reputation as one of the strongest proponents of the scene. His Moonshine discography boasts highlights that include his debut LP ‘The Rootstepa’ and the mighty ‘Dread Commandments’ 12”, and keep an eye out for some seriously exciting developments in the pipeline including the release of his second album. Not only a talented producer, Matt is also a fine selector, conveying his passion for music through DJ sets that pay homage to the sound and culture’s rich history as much as they showcase the freshest cuts of sonic innovation from himself and his contemporaries. He has hit spots all around the world to assault soundsystems with bass-fuelled beats and positive vibes. Catch Matt bringing heat to a series of festivals this summer, and with a landmark tour yet to be announced, there is plenty to look forward to on the horizon.
