This is my fourth produced song and for me this is a very special one. It is not only the first track I am convinced will be loved by its listeners, but also the track where I definitely found the type of music that I will be producing going forward. I started this track by thinking „where is the number one place I would like to be right now?“ The answer was: „under the hot desert sun at a festival.“ And this is exactly what this song represents and what you feel, when listing to it!

Black Peters known from his releases on Afterlife and Oddity gives a more noire edge to The Age of Innocence. Gritty bass-stabs cut through the mix like a cleaver.

Voices of the Valley bring this ethereal quality to the mix, with melancholic chords and counter-leads to accompany the original.

With the continuous expanding sound of Pursuit, we recently reached out to our fanbase for an exclusive remix-contest partnering with Ableton and Lessons in Live. With a community of creators, were overwhelmed by all the successful tracks we received.

Our pick for the win is the talented Tensive Line! Tensive Line came through with unique sound-design, completely overturning the original into something brand new. Mesmerizing and wondrous, a worthy edition to this remix pack.

Highlands EP

PREMIERE / Anticyclone - Valdivia (Original Mix)[Infinite Depth]

'The 28th EP of the label consists of three elegant tracks. There are two originals by the talented Spanish artist Paralel (@paralel_mind), of which the title track ‘Rose of Jericho’ got remixed by the renowned French artist Remcord (@remcord).

The first track, called ‘Rose of Jericho’, is also the title track of the EP. Throughout the track there is a rising intensity, caused by minimalistic differences in the main elements. It’s a very detailed track, with an almost continuous high energy. This energy only got interrupted by two intriguing small breaks.

In his remix, Remcord took some of the smaller parts of the original and with his analog workflow he kept the analog vibe of the full EP. He added some sophisticated elements, starting with the interesting lead melody and his own spacey voice recordings. He managed to create a very thoughtful remix with a lot different aspects, which are forming a great unity together. 

The third and last track of the EP is called ‘L’Immortel’. This is a dreamy one, but just as the other original it’s keeping a high intensity. The combination of the raw and elegant synths and percussion makes this track suitable for a lot of different sets. Also, Paralel gave this track a slightly emotional touch, which forms a lovely closing to this EP.'

"Black Roses Seventeenth EP comes from Italian duo MAAND. The guys from Naples provided three great tracks with a very romantic and melancholic feeling but at the same time full of energy at the right spot. "Anorher Day Without You" it's a journey with atmospheric pads and deep vocals, a perfect dream scenario. In "Faithless" we have the same dream scenario and atmospheric pads but in a more energetic way enhanced by the groove and bassline. The last one "Introspective" as the title suggests is a journey to discover ourselves, the leads and pads will bring you into a meditation phase till your be released with the explosive drop in the main break."

BRR21 Final Request - Lantern EP

Black Rose's Twentyoneth EP comes from the talented artist Final Request. Starting with "Ultra" we find ourselves immediately catapulted into an otherworldly setting, where robotic drones and space synths alternate in a vast boundless sea to reach the celestial pad in the pause. In "The Wall Around Us" we are accompanied by the fantastic voice of the artist himself with a really strong groove, surrounded by spatial synths and pads. To conclude "Lanter" is a mystical journey surrounded by abstract sounds to reach the main lead that, like a lantern in the dark, will guide us to a drop where it will be impossible not to dance.
