The story behind the release goes back to the Russian-Ukrainian war, when two members of Revival Agents became refugees. Thus, the release emphasizes the importance of keeping the focus on their creative nature despite the horrors of war. Love and peace is what everything inevitably comes to! And that's the main philosophical message of the tracks.

January the 20th meet a talented producer from Spain, @jamesdetorres to deliver his release 'Hephaistos' to Area Verde.
'Hephaistos and Vulcano are the same antique god, the first one is the Greek one, and Vulcano the Rome one. The god of fire and forge, when producing this two tracks I felt like crafting something in the dark, something beautiful that needs strength and patience to give it form. Using the Serum and the Sylenth to bring those synth sounds, the atmosphere samples, it really make me feel like if a deep story is being told.'

The Spanish PARALEL (@paralel_mind) is back on the label with his second EP titled ‘Electric’. The EP consists of two signature and colorful originals in collaboration with vocalist Davide Famularo. As an addition to these originals, we are very glad to welcome Angelov (@angelovmusic) and Carlo Whale (@carlowhale) to the label with two divergent, but great remixes.

The first track of the release is ‘Electric’. The dynamic arrangement takes you on a trip which starts off with the calming vocals of Davide, after which the rhythmic synthwork leads itself into the break while giving a euphoric feeling. From there the track works slowly to the final part of this lively piece, going up again towards the end of the track.

In his remix of ‘Electric’, Angelov gave it his signature twist. The energy level goes up from the start immediately. He managed to use the vocals in such a way the whole feeling of the vocals changed. Nevertheless, they still fit perfectly to the elements taken from the original. Throughout the composition a quite fierce characteristic synth comes through, giving the remix some extra roughness.

The third track is titled ‘Nothing is Real’. In this one, PARALEL also created a flamboyant play between the calming vocals and the rhythmic snynthwork. This play works towards quite a tight drop, after which the organic percussion comes up again, forming a very danceable unity with a darker undertone. 

Carlo Whale turned the focus a bit more towards the vocals in his remix of ‘Nothing Is Real’ and gave it modern melodic techno surroundings. In this way the vocals come out more ecstatic. In combination with the dreamy lead, the remix became uplifting and romantic at the same time.

The Archive was a sea wearing the shape of a cathedral—a vault of liquid geometry flowing through transparent ribs, its floor a calm mirror that remembered everything it had ever reflected. Columns of glacial light rose and softened, bulged and narrowed, solving themselves into arches whose lacework changed with thought. Beneath the vesper hush, gardens of pale mushroom basilicas breathed in slow rhythm, their gills printing letters of dew that slid into the floor and were read without eyes.
