The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Paul Hamilton & Anartist to the label for their debut EP. The former, born in Malta and now based in Dubai, is one of the underground's most highly regarded progressive house artists. Paul has found a home on Armada, Balkan Connection, Droid9, Freegrant Music and Perspectives Digital, while his equally impressive DJ skills have seen him perform at Ministry Of Sound (Dubai) and Godskitchen (Dubai). Similarly, Polish born, Israel based producer and DJ Anartist has been a fixture of Tel Aviv's nightlife for over a decade, delighting crowds with his fresh blend of progressive house and melodic house and techno. Also an accomplished producer, Anartist has showcased his music via Beatfreak Limited, Heinz Music and Perspectives Digital. Now coming together for their debut collaborations, Paul and Anartist land on Movement Recordings with 'Dialo', alongside remixes from Julian Nates and Ric Niels.

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of 'Dialo' is Ric Niels. Having first appeared on the Greek imprint earlier this year with a contribution to the label's Technical Progress, Vol. 11 collection, the Argentinean artist then returned in April for his first and well received artist EP 'Mermaid'. Now returning for his first remix for the label, Ric turns in a powerful rendition of 'Dialo'. Remarkably fluid and hugely energetic, it's a mix that stays true to the themes from the original, while adding a unique astral quality. Melodic fragments and icy overlays come in waves across the first act, adding a smooth ethereal quality which carries into the main break. Hugely emotive, the centrepiece trails off into a bed of crunchy arps and poignant chord changes, elevating mood as a tasteful build cues an exhilarating final movement

Rikki Sawyer returns to the label with a powerhouse groove - 'Purity'. Remix support comes from Darren Bray, Hall North and Ucleden.

Irishman Rikki Sawyer broke onto the scene back in 2013 with a series of strong releases for seminal labels such as Lowbit, Balkan Connection and Mistique Music. Garnering widespread support from Hernan Cattaneo to Drumcomplex, his music has soundtracked dance floors all over the globe.

In original form, 'Purity' is a tough prog groove for the late nite floors that marries power with emotional content, sinewy low end grunt juxtaposes perfectly with airy sonics and earworm synths for that trademark Sawyer vibe. On the remix, studio buddy Darren Bray, hot from his recent solo release with us, reimagines an epic end of night ride, while Hall North creates a driving percussive groove with airy soundscape sonics, and Ucleden goes subterranean and dubby.

After his smash hit 'Glare' with Arude, Radikon proudly welcomes back German-born Tantum for a beautifully crafted 4-tracker. 'Mave' is forceful, driving, and filled with understated euphoria.

The title track is powerfully rhythmic and unrelenting. Firing salvos of arpeggios and reverberated synth stabs set to a robust groove, 'Mave' beautifully threads the needle between commandingly body-moving and artfully melodic.

Built on shimmering strings and pads, 'Future Memories' is a more uplifting affair. Hopeful chord progressions and glittering arpeggios combine to create a firestorm of positive dancefloor energy.

'Tesseract' is the groover of the pack. Thrashing and churning just under the surface, the track threatens an almighty peak that remains just out of a reach. A beautiful exercise in tension that never quite resolves.

'Grimm' combines a compact groove with Tantum's full electric orchestra: ethereal stabs, shimmering arps, bells and chimes intertwine to create a track as forceful as it is melodic.

Tantum's beautifully energetic ep debut on Radikon marries uplifting melodies to driving minimalism. 'Mave' is a stunning addition to the discography of a promising young producer.

Opening up the month of September in style, Astral Records presents the first installment of their Celestial' series. These VA collections will stretch across the globe searching out the finest untapped talent along with industry veterans. With a concise approach the label explores a full spectrum of melodic house and techno, with an emphasis on the astral qualities that has made the genre appealing to many. Wrapped up in this five-track journey is a veritable smorgasbord of beats and melodies that are sure to delight the senses. Featured on the first installment are (in order of appearance) Asonanete, Ta'kaam, Leghet, Bruno Longhitano and Jickow.

Hailing from Spain and providing the first selection is Asonante. His dark atmospheric sound has found a home on Infinite Depth and WOOD, the latter of which has been his primary home since making his debut in 2018. Now adding Astral Records to his portfolio, Asonante makes his first appearance on Greek imprint with Volcano'. Punchy beats and machine gun rhythms sit at the heart of the piece, as devilish electronics slowly encase the framework. Continuing to build following the first of two breaks, hypnotic arps gently rise amidst ominous overlays, before the second break pushes tension skywards as the beats drop following a billowing stab.

California based Jake Kaiser has been building up a good reputation with releases on Nora & Pure's Purified Records and Monstercat Silk to name a few. Now we're delighted to have him on board for his MNL debut which features two brand new songs 'Big Lost' and 'Grebe'.

'Big Lost' is a dreamer in the true sense of the word. It's packed with lovely synth melodies and soundscapes whilst the percussion and beats sound fresh and crispy clear. What a lovely tune!

'Grebe' is a more than worthy "b-side". A bit deeper and mysterious with a lovely melodic main theme in combination with a sustained bass synth that really gives it that unique emo touch.
