@alexander-robotnick is like the cool uncle that you only see every couple of years or so when you begrudgingly attend your big family’s holiday gathering.  He’s too fab for the rest of the fam, and everybody knows it.  You secretly wish you could swap your dad for him, because while dad pulls off his signature scowl + ripping complaint combo, Uncle Robotnick is busy effortlessly imprinting his infectious energy with kaleidoscopic stories…  like his stint making world music & collaborating with Kurdish musicians, or conceiving & organizing an ambient festival in Florence in 1995.  He corners you and pours you both another glass of wine while asking, “Can I have an ashtray,” and offers to fly you to Berlin for his August 17-18-19, 2018  appearance at the next Buttons.
