Turkish Ladies is the complete mix of only Turkish female artists  from 60s and 70s. Mixtape is a result of digging and researching on women music from Turkey. It is a sound outcome of Ladies on Records project. I came to Turkey in September 2015 and have explored Turkish female music and the role of women in Turkish music in 60s and 70s.  Enjoy appreciated divas and undiscovered pearls of Turkish music, who I had pleasure to come across in dusty recordshops of Kadıköy and Eminönü (Istanbul).

Glorious Ladies is a selection of favourite songs from my collection of 45s, that I gathered through last 6 months. The most traumatic and strange 6 months for all of us.

A tribute to Turkish soul - filled with melancholy and joy.

We’re happy to present Anadolu Mixtape 11 by Jasper Verhulst! Jasper collects and plays rare grooves from all over the world through his online series FRUIT while bringing a stirring mix of Turkish folk, psychedelica, funk and rock with his band Altın Gün, touring internationally.
