Este episódio da nossa série mostra esse espectro, mas responde ao chamamento da pista, aumentando progressivamente em ritmo e bpm e fazendo um convite cada vez mais irresistível à mexer o corpo e se jogar.

Influenced by her roots and time abroad in Brazil and Japan, DJoy’s signature sound is characterized by the melancholic, and simultaneously joyful and light sounds of MPB, Japanese synth and pop, leftfield house and rare groove. In her mixes she prefectly blends the different worlds together. 

On the dancefloor she does not limit herself to any genres, and makes you dance to the floor by crossing boundaries from Baile Funk and a variety of breaks to drum n bass, garage and house music.

In her monthly show Joyride on Munich based Radio 80000 she always thrives to take you on a ride marked by the ordinary portion of joy!

what we find episode 3 featuring Aalia - A music collector of deep care and consideration for all that is shared, Aalia cherishes connecting through music and radiates that brightly from both sides of the booth. This always thoughtful approach to music and mixes has graced series like Worthwhile Tangents, Awkwardly Social, and online radio such as THF and Refuge Worldwide.

In her own words - this mix was recorded during a period when my emotions were tightly bottled up, and I desperately needed a form of self-expression that transcended words. The set encapsulates a dreamy state I've been immersed in for the past few months, weaving through a spectrum of emotions.

You'll hear echoes of sadness and numbness, punctuated by moments of intense insanity that arise when the weight of the world becomes overwhelming. These bursts serve as stark reminders that life outside my personal turmoil continues unabated, pulling me back into a state of autopilot. The melodies glisten and the reverb swells like moving tides. Soria's music and personal mixes glide on droning planes of sounds with hints of stirring spoken word and samples drawing listeners in to seek intimate interpretations of the sensory worlds enveloping them.

An approach that dives back through the worn threads of one's mind and surfaces on impressions of present spheres, as observed online for series like Fake Rolex, PVAS, and Radiant Records.

what we find episode 5 featuring sanguine - over recent years, sanguine has been steadily stirring tides from ocean to ocean with music landing far and wide on labels like sure thing, oslated, and lost properties. With his latest sliding doors release, sanguine builds a deep and cloudy soundscape across many different tempos creating a rich sonic world with titles like ear gum and gone to taste a dream to match. This finely tuned method of design and arrangement translates to selection and storytelling in mixes with notable features online for series like pure space, maybe, and decay audio. For this mix, sanguine moves through downtempo sounds from artists like tosca, dawn again, ambien baby, and more.

Radio 80000 is a non-commercial online radio from Munich and was founded in April 2015. It functions as a platform, promoting collaboration and cultural expression through music, dialogue and events throughout Germany. Currently more than 160 contributors regularly broadcast shows from Munich, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Hamburg and Vienna.

At Radio 80000, established and emerging musicians, DJs and artists as well as music enthusiasts without any professional ambitions engage in what has become an intensive exchange – offering a unique selection of timeless and contemporary music, with quality always being the top priority.

Since its foundation, the radio has grown into a network that unites individuals, leading to new collaborations between artists, labels and institutions inter/nationally.

Since March 2022 our studio is located at the Zirka.Space in Munich.
