Salut salut, je suis Dori, lyonnais depuis bientôt dix ans. Plutôt curieux lorsqu'il s'agit de musique, j'essaie de m'intéresser à un maximum d'esthétiques/projets et à en saisir l'essence. Sans réelle prétention ni volonté d'être DJ, j'aime bien partager des sons/artistes qui me plaisent sur le moment, en espérant que cela puisse toucher d'autres personnes :)

Beaucoup de lieux, d'artistes, de collectifs, de labels (...) qui me plaisent bien ont déjà été cités par les artistes des podcasts passés. Mais dernièrement j'ai pris plaisir à réécouter les projets de Macadam Mambo, notamment avec la dernière sortie d'Abschaum. Et pour sortir (un peu) de Lyon, pour celleux qui découvriraient, je recommande vivement une écoute des projets sortis par Notte Brigante.

Bien sûr, et comme beaucoup je l'espère, j'aimerais qu'il y ait davantage de place au respect entre toutes les personnes réunies autour de la musique, pas seulement la scène électronique. Des espaces (matériels, immatériels) et des acteur-ices plus safes, plus paritaires, plus bienveillants, plus curieux... enfin juste plus sensibles et respectueux finalement.

A late summer story - Lucient - 06 Sep 2024

Mario G. Quelart has been a fundamental and ubiquitous part of the Spanish electronic scene for years. Whether as a programmer, promoter, agent or simply as a cog that helps keep the wheel turning, he is one of the most valued people on the circuit, by both friends and professionals.
2023 will mark 20 years since he first stepped into a booth, and in this time he has undoubtedly become one of the most talented artists in the country. His versatility and vision for the dance floor, together with his excellent technique make him an infallible DJ.
Lucient is a resident DJ at LAUT club in Barcelona and is part of the Lapsus family where, amongst other tasks, he is in charge of A&R for CEE, the club orientated sub-label. This is where the project CEE Shepherds, with musical accomplice Albert Salinas (AKA Wooky) was born.
Not only has he excelled in his facet as a selector, but in recent years he has also lavished as a producer. His debut album “Sa Casa Des Carbó” (Lapsus Records, 2022) slipped into many of the best of the year lists, including that of the prestigious London record store Phonica. His most recent track, “Jeu! (ft. Phran)” was released as part of the Human Club compilation and sees Lucient’s productions shift towards the dance floor. An exciting new EP within these realms is expected by the end of the year.

A great honor to welcome Mario G. Quelart aka Lucient at my residency at Radio Beguin. He’s a DJ I’ve been following since my arrival in Barcelona and he never stopped surprising me with his very versatil music selection.

There is actually too many things to mention about Lucient… as he has been a key figure in Spain's electronic scene for years, working as a DJ, promoter, agent, and curator. 
Under his moniker Lucient, he’s a resident at LAUT (Barcelona) and part of the Lapsus collective, he also leads A&R at CEE, Lapsus' club-focused sub-label. His debut album Sa Casa Des Carbó (Lapsus, 2022) received critical acclaim and made several year-end lists, including Phonica Records’. His latest track, "Jeu!" (ft. Phran), marks a shift toward a more club-driven sound. (Please if you can, go check Phran, also Barcelona resident and very inspiring productor and Dj!).
Beyond DJing and producing, Mario manages artists at Lapsus agency, and curates events such as DNIT (together with Albert Salinas) and Embassa’t Festival in his hometown, Sabadell. 
He played alongside a infinite quantity of great artists international and locals (Marie Pravda, Hodge, Or:la, Pariah, James Holden, Akua, OK EG, Baldman, Pépe, and so on…)

Originally from Venezuela and now based in Lyon, elsa winner’s mixes are shaped by years of travel, sonic curiosity, and a strong connection to local scenes. A familiar face within Lyon’s underground and a member of Lyl radio, his sets are known for their raw intensity and emotional resonance. Recent travels to Tbilisi left a strong impression, and this mix reflects that energy— slow-burning tension and warped basslines.
