Somewhere 12 comes from spiritual companion Luis Martin Gonzalez. An untraceable lineage of deep, ritualistic musings that goes deep into the bowels of an enveloping, psychoactive listening environment.

On the surface, ceremonious cycles of sound produce a trance-induced delirium. But as these incantations take hold, the spacious repetitions give way to hypnotic visions of an expansive sonic underworld. Buried in the resonant psychedelic vibrations, a palette of wild, ineffable sounds ripple to the surface in sublime iridescence. A total trip.

"the inspiration for this mix came from a special afterparty where i DJ’d after a rave i had co-organized in montreal last october. i had spent most of the night dealing with the cops and got a fine for noise. once at the afterparty, i got to channel my frustration into music; i played dub techno for hours. to me, the airy but deep grooves of that music provide space for both introspection and release. hope you feel it too."

Stepping in through S.O.N.S's 'Landing On The Unknown' moving through Sleep D's 'Sunrise In The Crater' and into Kuniyuki Takahashi's 'You Should Believe' before finally arriving at a tangible crest of our past inspiring present with Sunju Hargun's unique remix of Björk's Jóga.
