Storken & JStaaf recently returned from their highly anticipated Mexico tour, showcasing their latest release "Tunghugg," which is now available on the renowned @RunningBack label. We had the pleasure of hosting these talented artists for our bi-weekly broadcast at Lykke Nytorget last Thursday, and the vibe was electric.

Let's begin by introducing @storkenmusic, a DJ/producer with a unique blend of influences. Born in '93, Storken grew up in a musical family in the Swedish countryside, where he was deeply inspired by 80’s icons like Phil Collins, Queen, and Tina Turner. Early exposure to music led him to explore various instruments such as drums, guitars, piano, and turntables, all while developing a passion for underground electronic genres. Storken masterfully combines the progressive elements of his Swedish heritage with an electronic disco style, resulting in a captivating musical fusion.

Storken's debut release, "Lille Vals," on the esteemed label Running Back, as well as his debut EP, "Skogsdisko," have received recognition from respected figures in the industry, including @Annie Mac, @Pete Tong, @Folamour, @The Blessed Madonna, @PurpleDisco Machine, @Patrick Topping, @Andhim, and @Krystal Klear. These endorsements are a testament to Storken's exceptional talent and his ability to create music that resonates with a wide audience.

Now, let's turn our attention to @J_staaf, a versatile artist known for crafting dynamic sets filled with playful grooves and always keeping some light present in his music. With releases on labels like @Days Like Nights/Armada, @Beatfreak Records, @Running Back, @NEIN, @Espacio Cielo, @Storkenland, and @Gods Groove, JStaaf has built a reputation for his vibrant and colorful tunes. While his musical style may vary, one thing remains consistent: JStaaf's compositions are infused with light and a commitment to delivering a good time.

Adding some diversity to the podcast we have Morian, based in Melbourne, Australia, for the 42nd chapter. You will be traveling through soundscapes ranging from ambient and downtempo to some more technoid rhythms where the author keeps us curious on where the journey goes next. Morian has the last couple of years kept busy with making mixtapes and sets to various respected channels and platforms like Delayed, On The 5th Day, Fur:ther Sessions, Cellar Door, Melifera just to name a few. Βorn, raised, and based in Patras, Greece, Alexskyspirit’s experience with the decks started in the early 00s in his hometown clubs and bars, blending his early influences of dark, progressive house with psychedelic trance. As he gradually honed his production skills and started shaping his musical identity, he shared the stage with some well-established names over those years, such as Edit Select, Keith Carnal, Charlotte De Witte, Dax J, Oxia, and Robert Dietz. His self-released and label-released material caught the attention of respected individuals from a broad techno spectrum, the likes of Amelie Lens, Joris Voorn, Abstract Division, Fabio Florido, Pan Pot, Deepbass, Ness, Claudio PRC, and Blazej Malinowski, who played his tracks on various occasions. Finally, this can also be a perfect example of how his sound shaped where he stands as a producer now.

his focus and sonic environments are weaved and led by his affiliation with the coldest season of the year, the echoes and the grey scenery during rainfall, the colourful and noisy urban landscape of the city traffic, and the impactful, awe-inspiring creations of architectural nature. His sound has a light, gentle approach combined with minimal elements of hypnotic ambience, distorted textures, and cinematic pads to conjure an aesthetically-pleasing yet deep atmosphere. He met Techno music for school days and started his DJ career in small county town.He moves the base in Tokyo.

His DJ style plays deep and tripping Techno and creates story on the floor.

Kai Galactic organizes his own Techno party "DAYBREAK". He invited Kangding Ray, Blazej Malinowski, and Deepbass.

In 2023, he launched "DAYBREAK Recordings", expanding his activities to include releasing his own track and managing his own label.

Today, we're returning to the enchanting forests of the Spanish midlands and our beloved Delayed x Perpendicular series. We're excited to introduce a multidisciplinary artist whose work continues to inspire and surprise us - Javier Marimon. This Spaniard, who spent a significant time in the Far East exploring new cultures and perspectives, has been a key figure in the international underground music scene for many years. His unique approach to dub-infused techno, halftime, and experimental sounds infuses his creative process with playful energy, evident in his music production, DJing, and graphic design.
Those fortunate enough to meet Javier in person are immediately struck by his infectious charisma and positive energy. While his music often leans toward the deeper, dubbier, and darker realms of electronic music, there's always a sense of freedom and playfulness in the way he combines elements and creates different rhythms.
With that in mind, we're proud to present this special hybrid set that Javier played on Sunday midday at the Perpendicular Festival. The set is deep and dubby, with glitchy moments and meticulous attention to detail. The atmosphere Javier crafted perfectly matched the setting, and the set remains engaging from start to finish.
The scene needs more artists like Javier Marimon, whose creative contributions continue to inspire others. We're thrilled to feature this mix.

Luigi Tozzi is an Italian DJ, live act and producer known for his atmospheric and immersive performances. 
He is an adroit manipulator of sounds, reflected in his productions that fall into the deeper, atmospheric areas of electronic music. They are impactful without applying force, evoking a cocoon-like sento in its listeners. 
Tozzi found his artistic home on labels like the Swedish Hypnus Records or Non-Series, where he regularly releases. 
Since his first release on Hypnus in 2014, he contributed numerous times to their catalogue and label showcases. 
His major project on the label is the "Deep Blue" album trilogy released in 2014, 2016, and 2021. 
It draws inspiration from a profound fascination with the oceanic world, a recurring theme in both Tozzi’s life and work. 
In 2023, an especially adapted ambient version of “Deep Blue” premiered in London. Tozzi's releases on Non-Series, like “Tender is the Night” (2019), “Almost Blue” (2021), and “Spiral” (2023), emphasize distinct sound elements and focus on techno with a minimalist aesthetic.

Furthermore, he contributed to a variety of labels like Mental Modern, OUTIS Music and Calipso.

Besides his work as a Live Act, DJ, and producer, Tozzi is involved in sound designs for art and film projects and is known for collaborations with other musicians and artists.
