Après les avoir reçu aux platines pour un Entrée Plat Disco dont on se souviendra et avoir proposé leur dernière sortie sur MTT (MTT003 dispo sur bandcamp) à l'occasion de l'un de nos accords disque et vin, les voicis pour notre deuxième mix décadent ! Mister T. c’est le mix protéiné d’une dizaine d’années d’exploration musicale chez 4 potes, obsédés par les musiques dansantes, qu’elles viennent du Brésil ou de Vitry. Avec 3 EP remarqués depuis 2018 sur leur label consacré à des edits Disco & Italo, ils sont toujours prêts à prendre les commandes des platines, entre Paris et Toulouse, pour faire découvrir les prochains artistes à suivre.
L’inaction relative de cette dernière année leur a permis d’étoffer leurs bacs et a donné le temps à John aka JISCO ASTRAL d’enregistrer un set à la suave chaleur baléarique, mettant en lumière une partie de sa collection qu’il n’a pas l’occasion de jouer en club.
Entre mix et sélecta, voici leur clin d’œil optimiste à la reprise de la vie culturelle et un avant-goût des prochaines sorties du label.


Mister T. is the powerful result of ten years of musical exploration by 4 friends obsessed with dance music, whether they come from Brazil or Vitry. With 3 noticed EPs since 2018 on their label dedicated to Disco & Italo edits, they are always ready to take the controls of the DJ booth, between Paris and Toulouse, to showcase the next artists to follow.
The relative inaction of this last year allowed them to expand their wax crates and gave time to John aka JISCO ASTRAL to record a suave balearic set, highlighting a part of his collection not too dancefloor oriented.
Between mix and selecta, here is their optimistic nod to the resumption of cultural life and a foretaste of the label’s upcoming releases.

Co-founder of DiscoTomie in Paris, Antoine has been collecting records for many years and uses his spare time to explore the infinite ocean of music that lies under his feet. It all began with 90's house music which he still collects a lot but after half a year spent in Chicago in 2018 he definitely dived into the music of the origins, soul, disco and gospel.

His DJ sets take you on a journey visiting late 70s soul music, the golden age of Disco and gospel with one only goal: sharing and dancing!

This week we cross the pond to land in Brooklyn, where resides of one of the most respected and influential producers in the current underground house scene: Mr. Toshihiro Moriguchi aka DJ Monchan.

Head of the renowned Dailysession Records label –which has published tracks from Jordan Fields or Kalim Shabazz (Moments Of Soul) to name a few–, and owner of a legendary records collection, including a wide variety of styles such as downtempo, dub, jazz, reggae, soul…

Regarding this mix, Monchan shows off his exquisite good taste and perception of cozy sounds, creating an embracing mantra that opens the doors to an elevated state of happiness.

Whether through her projects or her DJ sets which transit through the most varied rhythms and periods of time, it is possible to affirm that Barbara Boeing is one of the main cultural enthusiasts on the current independent scene of Brazilian electronic music.

Deepening and refining her musical research for more than a decade, in 2012, Barbara was one of the responsibles for the creation of the collective and party label called Alter Disco in Curitiba. Soon, the party became synonym of freedom of expression, change of social paradigms and an example of sharp musical curatorship.

We're very glad to welcome her for this episode of Bordello Radio. Enjoy!
