Soela is the DJ and production alias of Elina Shorokhova, a Russia-born Berlin-based experienced pianist and vocalist who has made a hugely successful transition into electronic music. 
She released her material on such labels as Kompakt, Dial, Shall Not Fade, Lost Palms, E-Beamz, Red Ember Records, Sushitech, and others. With a style that combines house, dub techno, and experimental electronica, Soela is creating versatile tracks and mixes, and collaborating with artists such as Christopher Ledger, Steve O’Sullivan, and Module One.

Crystalizing this ethos into his productions, Joe has enjoyed a string of well received releases on a myriad of diverse record labels. It's an intoxicating cocktail that has seen him play around the world and back again, from smoke filled basements to festival stages and all points between.

As a member of W.H. Lung, Tom Sharkett has provided electronics for one of the best bands in the UK, including on their most recent, critically acclaimed LP, ‘Every Inch of Earth Pulsates’. These DIY, indie-oriented experimentations have slowly led Sharkett to unexpected places as a solo artist in club culture, via the portal of Manchester’s legendary venue, The White Hotel, where he was inspired by inspired by cult nights such as Red Lazer and Wet Play, 

Sharkett has since collaborated with artists such as System Olympia and Raf Rundell, as well as appearing on Optimo Music and Okay Nature Records. His subtle, spirited edit of LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Home’, released as a bootleg in early 2025, has recently re-emerged on DFA Records as an official release, just in time to become an unusual wistful summer anthem. 

Sharkett captures this fruitful moment in a contribution to Phantasy’s long-running mix series, which features a smattering of currently unreleased material, while bridging Cabaret Voltaire, Slowdive, Eden Burns and even Chappel Roan. True to the eclectic philosophy of Sharkett’s DJ and production trip so far, PHANTASYMIX 53 is a rare trip.

Well it only to 18years for Cassy and I to be back on the same night. 2007 was my first time coming to play at P-Bar in Berlin Germany. It was also my first international booking. I didn't realize this until this year. So I asked Cassy if she would do me the honor and play on my residency night at Globus...In Tresor! I was nervous and excited! I also messed up during the set a few transitions...But recovered Nicely...lol so here it is Back to Back!

Marco Passarani is one of Rome’s most influential figures in electronic music, celebrated for his innovation, collaborations, and lasting impact on the scene. His rich and eclectic discography includes releases on labels such as Running Back and Peacefrog, while his Tiger & Woods project breathed new energy into boogie and italo. Today show is tribute to Canadian artists, bands, and production …that created some amazing jazz, funk and fusions grooves.  

Living in the upstate NY area for many years … which is right south of Canada J … has exposed me to some good music that was created and/or released in Canada… which I have proudly collected over the years… and I still do...   

I will try to play some rare and lesser-known good music … and as always close to the foundations of funk and groove.  So put your skates on…and get ready for some funk on the ice…
