Ladies and gentlemen, please acclaim the long awaited set of the Beau Mot Plage manager: Thomas Chauveaux, also known as CHV. Always versatile, you can never tell where his taste is going. The man is known for collecting obscure oddities - dancefloor ready or not - but also for being an excellent party buddy: you can tell by him being at the same party you are in that it is going to be a good one. Longtime due, this set is indeed a special one by someone who is not a so-called dj but a true selector who pays attention to moods, vibes and selecta rather than technical perfection. A true self deserving to be heard, and enjoyed as a whole trip. We are really happy to showcase what the man has in mind, and in his bag, for the very first time.

Joint Project between O MATO x Childhood intelligence

Known for blurring the lines of conventional traveling with adventurous parties, the Berlin/Brazil-based collective O MATO opens a new chapter in their history. The first release of O MATO Recordings reflects on a broad spectrum of tastes, representing not only the crew’s diverse musical aspirations but also the many faces of the worldwide family circle that has been gathered carefully over the years. What began in the Amazon rainforest as an experiment with the ambiguous outcome now finds its way back pressed into vinyl: A piece of sonic nostalgia, from the jungle to your turntables and beyond.

OMATO-ONE compiles nine unreleased tracks from contemporary fellow artists as well as two KPM library pieces and a 1996 beat by the Long Beach g-funk crew Foesum. Special thanks to our friends from Childhood Intelligence for connecting the dots. For further information visit www.o-mato.com.

For decades he’s been amassing an extensive and enviable record collection to rival most others, and knows a thing or two about how to play them. Ben's mix exemplifies his sound and style perfectly - deep & groovy as fuck house and techno obscurities, mixed by a master who knows his records inside out. Plus he’s a Leeds fan.

Alexander Francis is a vinyl enthusiast and dj who’s been part of the Brussels club music landscape for over a decade. Two years ago he decided to concentrate on what he loves best: playing deep, quirky sounds designed for intimate dancefloors, and renamed himself francis99 to mark the turning point. Inspired by the rich and diverse Brussels scene, his style echoes years of listening to a wide variety of musical styles, digging and playing records with friends at parties or during all-night home sessions.
After having hosted the Beyond club nights at Fuse with Pierre, Handless Dj and Walrus, you can now find francis99 on Kiosk Radio, at C12 or playing alongside his pals from Basic Moves.
While clubs are still closed as we wait for the waves of covid-19 to break, this bright mix pays homage to some of francis99’s all-time favourites, shares recent findings and showcases newer music from both local and international friends.
