It is a great pleasure to do Tribute to GRP Records.  
For those that do not know … "G" stands for Dave Grusin and "R" is for Larry Rosen.  
Both award winning musicians, producers, arrangers, and label owners.   
 Dave Grusin is most famous for composing many scores for film and TV.  
Larry Rosen in E70s as arranger and producer (Jon Lucien).  
As Grusin/Rosen Production team, they worked for Blue Note, CTI, Elektra and Polydor…until they founded Arista/GRP in 1978.   

 It is an exciting show because it truly covers the full spectrum of the groove…from jazz to funk…
from soul to latin…from original soundtrack to boogie. It is strictly a vinyl set.

Definitly one of my favorite rides of the 2025 summer. Not gonna lie, I was quite nervous in the beginning. Tugged in between the trees, good sound, lovely lights and a fantastic group of people standing on the other side of the booth. That felt good and special, and got me a little nervous at the same time. Just had 1,5 hour but managed to squeeze in a good variety of tunes. Started with a gentle touch but realised I needed some more energy and quickly found my way to some more heavier/deeper stuff (or at least heavy for my taste). After that I found a way for some more energetic uplifting rhythms and finally ended it all with a very soft landing.
I think I described it well enough, but if you can think of a better description, I am all ears after you have listened to the mix :)
