Hello everyone, and welcome to DKODA: The Soul'd Out Show (Vol. I - IV)!  This is without a doubt my most ambitious project to date - a 4 part audio experience, where the 4 Volumes of music are split into 4 Acts - like a music themed audio play, presented to a live audience on stage. I wanted to tell a story about unrequited love, heartbreak, loneliness, elation, hope, grief  & despair. Further themes of true love, passion & desire finally intertwine with peace, togetherness & freedom. The protagonist's story is told in audio form using the lyrics and emotions in the samples of the music selected and used. I hope you enjoy the 'event'!

DKODA - Let Me Know

In September 2018 Gouranga threw a fundraiser for #DanceLikeMandela and oceanic charity Project Ø in Public Arts in New York City. The evening was a celebration of African Music and a well heeled guestlist of fashion week revellers danced to purely tribal beats from 10pm -4am. We asked one of favourite producers @jamesrod if he would put together his own African mixtape to raise awareness for the Project Ø and #DanceLikeMandela...and here it is!

Project Ø is a new generation focused on fixing the world's largest and most solvable problem - the ocean. We're a global movement supported by renowned scientists, business leaders, celebrities, campaigners, ocean experts and individuals, who are all working together to restore and protect the ocean.

And the ocean needs it. Less than 3% is protected, countless fisheries are overexploited – the majority of top predators are gone - huge amounts of plastic and waste are pouring into the ocean unchecked, half the coral reefs are gone, and dead zones cover huge swaths of ocean unable to support life.
