Words from the artist himself:
"As a lover and appreciator of the Horror and Suspense genre in movies and books, I grew up seeing many things in these works that caught my attention and caused a strangely pleasurable feeling. All my life I have also seen these things happen in real life, many times more brutally, but the feeling was not the same. That shiver, that tension and that moment caused by reading or by a fictitious interpretation was not produced in my body, but a feeling of anguish and anger. Anger for sharing the same space and being of the same species as the one who performs such actions.
The last 3 years we've had atypical years of our lives, and throughout that process I poured that into music, creating this album. I can say that it was an “emotional masochism”. I read stories, watched movies (based on real events or not), looked for things I hadn't looked for and listened to various news. In addition to observing the world around, as usual. With that, I saw even more the capacity of the human being to be, at the very least, complicated.
It is not necessary to list or point out all the problems that human beings are capable of being and doing with their peers and with everything around them. We all know. And we don't know everything, as we are always surprised by the insanity of the mind, putting ourselves in situations that were previously unimaginable.
No triggers and no more stimuli: the scariest movie is human life."

We start the label off this year with a special debut by local Producer & Dj @lukeetaylor. "Headrush" is nothing short of . which is a result of his high musical erudition from years of experience. Luke has developed a truly unique sonic experience, hitting all the right spots, Each song having a strong narrative, intricate arrangements and pure feelings. A natural push and pull on the heartstrings.

Luke features three originals, with Headrush being our personal favourite which immediately caught our attention. It also features three remixes rounded off by international producer OX, who took a fresh and twisted approach to the original, an interpretation by Leeu, who headed in a more lucid dubby downtempo path & lastly, Vox Portent, who surprised us with a cheeky stripped back techno edit.

Here is what Risa is saying about his set.
This mix was recorded on 1st July which is exactly the same date I arrive in Canada 15 years ago, funny fact because the selection I made was without relation to the date I had recorded this set, the selection I build was inspired by my years trough music journey, that's why I decided to add 2 tracks from Mexican collective Nortec, who use "banda" music samples in his electronic music, so I decided to use 2 tracks mixed with some of my tracks collective, in this way I'm traveling from my 20's to my 40's in this music journey, playing tracks that inspired and that bring me souvenirs.
