From France, Jon Yutani makes his debut on WAREBLUES with an EP charged with underground House energy. "Feel The Rave" kicks off the performance, a track dedicated for the dance floor, catchy melodies, jackin drums and vocals that take you to move your body. "Revolution 90" is an authentic club sound, sharp stabs and a raw beat. In the middle "Midnight Run", the mixture between deep sounds and percussion lead to a classic Deep House. To finish the release comes "Breakdown", the female vocals give name to the track and the multiple keys a fun rhythm.

The Plastik People garage wagon keeps on rolling, and they've got that bump n' swing for days. Label head honcho Marc Cotterell is back at it with Danny Phillips, dropping four bombs geared towards exuberant explosions of joy on the floor, leading in with the utterly infectious 'Jersey Music'. 'It's What We Do' keeps the organ stabs tightly clipped and punchy as hell, while 'Give Me Your Love' gets into a Todd Edwards frame of mind chopping the samples around on 'Give Me Your Love'. 'Summer Heatwave' rounds things off beautifully to close the EP with a sweet and sentimental groover that wiggles in all the right places.

Irish talent Mark Laird debuts on Madhouse Records this September with his four-track ‘Fly’ EP.

A rising name that will be familiar to followers of Houseum, Donegal producer Mark Laird is the latest emerging talent from the blossoming house scene that looks set to make his mark on proceedings across Europe and beyond. With releases to date via Bellisima and Hopera Records, the home of ‘Funk That’ which has now racked up over two million streams on YouTube and support from the likes of Cinthie and Mall Grab in the process, and here we see further evidence of his development as an artist as he makes his debut on Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records with a slick four-tracker in the form of his ‘Fly’ EP.

Title cut ‘Fly’ opens proceedings with authority as Laird combines jacking percussion with resonant stabs and sharp vocal interjections, before the lively ‘Sneakin’ utilises bright piano chord melodies amongst punchy kicks and crisp claps. Next up, ‘Rhythm Track’ brings a slice of soul fusing organ melodies and two step percussing arrangements, with the driving ‘Times Up’ shaping up the package with filtered funk-heavy bass licks, infectious vocal hooks and a snaking low-end groove throughout.

RADIO ELECTRONICA was one of the first independent radio programmes to go on air in Jena in 1999. The background was to bring colour into the dreary Thuringian radio programme and to create a platform where regional and national artists from the electronic music scene could present themselves and exchange ideas. RADIO ELECTRONICA claims to be always on the trail of new influences, trends and artists in the field of electronic music.

The show quickly developed from the first pre-productions to a live broadcast, which can be heard every four weeks on Saturdays from 7pm to midnight on the open channel Jena on UKW 103.4 Mhz and via online stream (https://radio-okj.de/wp-content/themes/radiookj/okj-player.html).

With a steadily growing fan base, RADIO ELECTRONICA is still a firm institution in the field of electronic music in Jena and beyond the city limits. Besides the latest scene trends and record presentations, studio guests are a big part of the show.
