Blur Records is proud to present the prolific Colombian DJ, producer and sound engineer - Joint4Nine - and his four-track EP entitled "My Feelings For U".

Based in Bogotá, the co-founder of the electronic music duo Rush City and record label Nómada has worked in the past with several record labels such as Sengiley Wax, Masterworks Music, GLBDOM, Apparel Wax and many others, with his music reaching all corners of the world including Luanda, Angola.

The first track entitled "Deep In Love" is a patchwork of cross-genres and moods, bouncing along with a funky bassline, artfully selected percussion, and a killer pitched vocal to bring it all together.

Next is "It's All About House'', a 90s drenched acid track, instantly recognized for its libidinous bass, providing the gritty anchor to the track and counterweighting the lightness of the synth work.

The third track "Start Time", is a naked drums groove, with a jumpy bassline and undulating layers of percussion, that balance perfectly with the arpeggiated synths deepening the groove.

To close the release we have "This Rave Feeling", a rolling and percussive groove machine, with dense rich textures and a psychedelic chord stab enveloping the old school drum machines.

Wilson Kentura (Felisberto Arthur) is a young talent from Luanda (Angola). He has since made a name for himself in Angola's house scene as a DJ and producer.

His passion for the art of music began at the age of 14 and has had as main influences artists such as John Legend, Atjazz, Salif Keita, Michael Jackson, Dennis Ferrer, Bob Sinclar, Phil Collins, Kassav, Daft Punk and many others. In his career as a music producer, he went through many styles including kuduro, rap, kizomba and finally his passion for art which culminated in house music.

He is considered one of the mentors of Soufull style and Afro house in Angola. His remixes and his songs have brought the attention of several radio and television stations. Some tracks have already been released on labels such as: Arrecha Records, Aluku Records, Oluwki Music, Offering Records "Seres Produções". His own label runs under the name VOZES QUENTES.

Fred Aster is a DJ and producer from Luanda, Angola, and owner of the Blur Records label. Having released his debut album earlier this year with a sonically diverse palette of sounds, he is also responsible for all the label's events as well as the A&R management of Blur Records. He was recently invited to host Radio Electronica's expansion to Angola.

The resident ‘saga boy’ has an equally skillful navigation of London’s grime and UK funky, along with American hip hop and trap music. By immersing himself in these multiple influences, he creates an eclectic and inimitable musical experience, moving crowds from Port of Spain's Big Black Box and Euphoria Lounge all the way to London’s Camden Assembly & Rum Kitchen, Berlin’s Chaussestrasse 131 & Barcelona’s Razzmatazz.

2018 brought through several of Blasé Vanguard’s official solo releases, infusing them his own vocals. STRESS/Dahlin’, his debut EP was described by Dummy Magazine’s Cosmo Godfree as “a heady concoction of soca and UK funky but married with the heads-down, rain-stricken introspection of early dubstep”. RADIO ELECTRONICA was one of the first independent radio programmes to go on air in Jena in 1999. The background was to bring colour into the dreary Thuringian radio programme and to create a platform where regional and national artists from the electronic music scene could present themselves and exchange ideas. RADIO ELECTRONICA claims to be always on the trail of new influences, trends and artists in the field of electronic music.

The show quickly developed from the first pre-productions to a live broadcast, which can be heard every four weeks on Saturdays from 7pm to midnight on the open channel Jena on UKW 103.4 Mhz and via online stream (https://radio-okj.de/wp-content/themes/radiookj/okj-player.html).

With a steadily growing fan base, RADIO ELECTRONICA is still a firm institution in the field of electronic music in Jena and beyond the city limits. Besides the latest scene trends and record presentations, studio guests are a big part of the show.
