Florian Förster – aka Wintermute – has made his name in the Drum & Bass scene over the past 10 years with his unique take on the genre. Fusing seemingly disparate styles, his tracks explore junctures of techno- and soul-influenced drum and bass, meandering between high-tech funk and ambient explorations.
Having released on some of the most respected labels in the scene, such as Black Sun Empire’s Blackout Music, Cause4Concern Recordings, Vegas/Bad Company UK’s Bad Taste Recordings, Boundless Beatz and the demoscene-related NoSYS Productions, he made his name synonymous with deep atmospheric, yet gritty dancefloor tracks.

"fleeting memories; feigning happiness" is a personal journey for me that follows, among other things, the course of a romantic relationship, the stages of grief that came with it, and my understanding of my eventual diagnosis of bipolar II disorder. I suppose I'll leave it at that.

Subreachers is up for release 013. Really excited for this one to come out, after following Subreachers music for some time now we were very excited when they agreed to make a release with us.

A side - Atlas - is a track of several flavours. Starting off in a dreamy, spacey world, it builds with style before dropping into booming bass and dancefloor destroying breaks.

B side - Rammer - is a simply a vibe. Flowing break arrangements roll on top of deep bass, carefully placed atmospherics, and catchy vocal cuts.

RADIO ELECTRONICA was one of the first independent radio programmes to go on air in Jena in 1999. The background was to bring colour into the dreary Thuringian radio programme and to create a platform where regional and national artists from the electronic music scene could present themselves and exchange ideas. RADIO ELECTRONICA claims to be always on the trail of new influences, trends and artists in the field of electronic music.

The show quickly developed from the first pre-productions to a live broadcast, which can be heard every four weeks on Saturdays from 7pm to midnight on the open channel Jena on UKW 103.4 Mhz and via online stream (https://radio-okj.de/wp-content/themes/radiookj/okj-player.html).

With a steadily growing fan base, RADIO ELECTRONICA is still a firm institution in the field of electronic music in Jena and beyond the city limits. Besides the latest scene trends and record presentations, studio guests are a big part of the show.
