From an early age, Joe was musically inclined. As a youth growing up in Bari, Italy Joe taught himself to play the piano and guitar
by ear. The process of combining songs in a symbiotic and organic way manifested itself during his school days. Joe often
became the de facto ‘selecta’ at school parties where he mixed dance tracks using double cassette decks. A Christmas gift of two
turntables saw him graduate to mixing using vinyl records. For hours on end, he would watch the needle rise and fall over each
groove and crevice of the numerous records in his ever-increasing collection, mentally cataloguing the intricacies of each track.
He is quick to concede that his approach to Deejaying was founded on the purest form of mixing – the seamless blending of one
track with another using only instincts and the etched memories of each song.

His first club appearance quickly followed in 1994, where he played a house music set at Eclipse (Bari – Italy). The then under-
aged Joe managed to impress a crowd of seasoned clubbers undetected! From then on, Joe effortlessly began to move dance

floors around his hometown.
At the age of 19, the budding Deejay took a ‘gap year’ and moved to the hustle and bustle of London, a city which was heavily
pregnant with clubs and which gave birth to some popular genres of modern day underground music. The fertile London
clubbing scene served to broaden Joe’s musical perspective and would greatly influence his future set constructions. While
there, he was blessed to see some of the founding fathers of ‘hard house’ perform, including greats like Carl Cox, Danny
Tenaglia, Pete Tong to name a few.
He returned to Italy in 1998, brimming with enthusiasm. Within a short time, he was booked to play at some of Southern Italy’s
most popular dance clubs, placing gigs at Jimmi’z, Demodé, Last Exit, Jubilee and more, securely under his belt. A couple of years
later, Joe held a residency at the hugely popular "Clorophilla" in Southern Italy.
There he would share the decks with leading Italian and international house and techno music Deejays - Claudio Coccoluto,
Paolo Martini, Alex Neri, Little Louie Vega and Deep Dish - all to swiftly sold out crowds.
After a four-year hiatus, Joe returned to the scene, this time as a representative of the "The Flame Recordings" label as well as
the Entertainment Group “Gluck”.
Currently based in Barbados, Joe has started to branch out into the personally untapped area of music production and he has
produced tracks for several up and coming labels - Samara Records, AQU Music, Torks Records and Ovni Music.
A seasoned traveller, Joe’s set constructions are diverse and are built on beats drawn from his travels. They span the broad
spectrum of genres from tribal rhythm to soulful house tracks. He can take you on a journey across the four corners of the world
of house music in one set.
In 2016, he performed for the first time during WMC in Miami at small industry parties at the Bunker, Repour Bar and IT Lounge.
In April 2018, during the first edition of Vujaday Music Festival in Barbados, Joe opened the Ministry of Sound Stage, sharing the
decks with headliners like Cassy, Mark Knight, Dave Seaman, Danny Howells & Darren Emerson.
While In Barbados, he continues to grow his following and regularly performs at the island’s most popular dance music venues

such as Sea Shed, La Cabane , Blue Pineapple and more. He plays to packed-capacity crowds at “The Alchemists” bespoke Ibiza-
styled parties, a venture which he collaborated and conceptualized with his business partner, Craig Corrie.

PITCH.1 is the musical project of Vincenzo Montalbano.
The approach to the world of clubs takes place during the years of stay in London which will guide the style with the typical sounds of house music. About 10 years ago, the great friendship and closeness with Andrea Cavani and Fabio Dall’Oglio (aka we.amps) opened the doors to the world of djing and collaboration in musical productions for him.
The many visits to Berlin clubs add minimal and dark notes to his DJ sets. Lover of 90’s techno he winks at acid, detroit, industrial sounds, with break beat parentheses.
Vincenzo is also part of the Tech Clubbers collective.

Over the past few years, the pair have begun to carve out a name for themselves as a dynamic DJ / Producer duo known for their eclectic taste in music and experiences. Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, their work maintains a fine balance of modern electronic production and a live feel, a testament to their New Orleans roots.

Over the past ten years, the Pintauro Brothers have showcased their talent across the United States, with a special emphasis on the vibrant New York City club scene for the last five years. Their live sets, filled with energy and a mix of live elements, have adorned popular local clubs such as Jupiter Disco, TBA Brooklyn, and Café Balearica.

Their music has found homes in labels like Midtown House and Good Tempo (the twins’ independent label established in 2022), with forthcoming releases on the likes of Nervous Records. Their growing body of work showcases the Brothers' versatility and commitment to trying new things.

RADIO ELECTRONICA was one of the first independent radio programmes to go on air in Jena in 1999. The background was to bring colour into the dreary Thuringian radio programme and to create a platform where regional and national artists from the electronic music scene could present themselves and exchange ideas. RADIO ELECTRONICA claims to be always on the trail of new influences, trends and artists in the field of electronic music.

The show quickly developed from the first pre-productions to a live broadcast, which can be heard every four weeks on Saturdays from 7pm to midnight on the open channel Jena on UKW 103.4 Mhz and via online stream (https://radio-okj.de/wp-content/themes/radiookj/okj-player.html).

With a steadily growing fan base, RADIO ELECTRONICA is still a firm institution in the field of electronic music in Jena and beyond the city limits. Besides the latest scene trends and record presentations, studio guests are a big part of the show.
