Thanks, Chris. It was a pleasure listening to Mark. I'd never been able to construct a mental image of him, before, and I'm happy to learn that he's a cool guy. Thanks, Mark! Early in the interview, he mentions Hal Carter twice. Isn't Hal the guy Ray has written about, who was sent down by Pye Records to critique their stage act while they were on tour with the DC5 and The Hollies in early 1964?.  And wasn't it Graham Nash who told Hal that the nascent Kinks were fine and to leave them alone?

Fantastic I used to be The Haley Brothers Roadie when I was younger. They performed at local gigs. I also remember them Touring with Suzi Quatro they took me along as I was a fan. I  also met the Monkees when they played The Hammersmith Odeon and met Peter Tork who did not want me hanging around with them, But I had a ticket for the show and enjoyed it. Mark & his Brother are family to me and always will be.
