“1995 - Echoes of Trance” is the next single from Astral Waves, also known as DJ Zen, on Altar Records.
This release arrives as a special anniversary celebration.

Thirty years ago, DJ Zen first discovered trance music through friends returning from the legendary beaches of Goa, India, a moment that changed everything. This new single was created in honor of that memory, keeping the unmistakable old-school vibe of mid-90s trance alive and glowing.

A heartfelt tribute to the sound that started it all, 1995 - Echoes of Trance celebrates three decades of passion, inspiration, and an unwavering love for electronic music.

Three decades later, DJ Zen still walks that path with joy and devotion.
This single is a love letter to the origins of trance, to the early Goa magic, and to the timeless feeling that music can transform a life forever.

The vocal sample in "1995" mentioning "ecstasy" is not a reference to drugs. Instead, it describes the natural state of intense bliss and spiritual connection experienced through dancing—a pure "trance-and-dance" feeling.

Born in 1979, Andrea has always had a passion for electronic music.
In 1996, he decided to throw himself head first into the art of DJing and soon after found a kind of natural way to his first home studio.
Between 2005 and 2012 and after several release on the best techno labels at that time under the name of "Stephane Signore" like Rotation - Primate - Planet rhythm - Monoid and many more.
Andrea had the chance to features on some famous compilation mixed by several worldwide knowed djs like Dave Clarke on the legendary Fabric London compilation, Ben Long (Space Dj's), Gayle San (U60311 Frankfurt compilation),
Felix Krocher and many more.

Andrea had the chance to work his studio with the "Drumcode" genious from Brazil "Wehbba" and the french producer who don't needs any introduction "Olivier Giacomotto".
From both collaboration, born several ep played all over the world during many years.

During almost ten years, most of his release were played by the "big names" and Andrea had the chance to play in more than 30 countries and beeing resident dj in the Hungarian number 1 techno club "M47".

In June 2018, Andrea made his return on several labels like Tronic, Codex, Alchemy with a remix of the classic "Mauro Picotto-Lizard", Orange recordings and many more.
In November 2019, Andrea release the "Muse ep" on Orange recordings.
The track "Omnia" reached the Top of the main beatport techno charts and reach the 4th place of the Techno charts and the first place of the Hype Techno charts.
