Italian born DJ/Producer; Devid Dega has been working as a Dj since 2003 though his roots for a passion within the business started to grow long before that.   
Introduced to techno at a young age, he was inspired by DJ’s such as Marco Bailey, Vitalic & Luca Morris to name a few which brought him to realize that he wanted music to be the center of his life.  

With his beginnings in some clubs around Venice and the north-east region of Italy, Devid shortly after found himself organizing events & later working in artistic management.  

In 2009 he started his career in production.  He's computer obsessed… a gear-maniac beat maker who at some point started releasing on “Amazing Records” which is where he found his first great success.  Thereafter and like a time machine reflecting back to what got him started, Devid was signed with MB Elektronics  followed by Tronic, Agile, Transmit & Unrilis, Analytic Trail, Unity Records to name some.
 The result is nothing short of spectacular with his productions he has reaching top positions on charts of all over the world & and his tracks supported by artists such as Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Cristian Varela, Maceo Plex and many others.

It’s getting harder and harder to bemoan Kasra’s Critical imprint of most anything. This latest mere 25 minute mix from his label signing, Emperor is a real case in point. Being so short there’s very little let up but the fact is it’s probably rammed full of a ton of new productions and it’s got a very evident meticulous nature to it. Emperor doesn’t try and cloud the product with ideas above its station, the mix’s rowdy, almost call and response like nature surmises the way a <em>whole</em> bunch of people play out, constantly pushing the crowd on and on into more of a fever. And consequently, as a teaser for the next Critical Sound night, it’s the perfect thing to epitomize the type of energy and devotion their crowd provides.
