This is a collaborative record between Los Angeles based record label Good Society and Lyon, France based label Retro Jungle Records (@retrojungle). This once in a lifetime project brings together many of our generation's most notable beat scene creators such as The Kount, Rob Araujo, Kaelin Ellis, and Louis Futon, with a cross generational touch in featuring Matt Johnson the keyboardist of Jamiroquai.

This compilation album is a leading case in which artists who are all actively creating a massive impact on today’s Hip Hop/ Funk scene are being brought together to create a punchy, groovy, boom bap powerhouse. THE HEIST has seen its full release on all digital platforms as well as a special edition released on vinyl in extremely limited supply. The two French producers, midnight alpha. and Needraw are back on Radio Juicy with a soulful single titled Motions. A perfect summery song to listen to by the pool while sipping on a fresh beverage. With a subtle balance between smoothness and energy, the organic production in “Motions” will surely surprise the listener with its warm textures. The two musicians had a lot of fun playing with the intensity of the elements making the track. Adding randomness in the drums gave the song a life of its own. That’s what inspired the name “Motions”. The song was imagined as a majestic voyage over beautiful landscapes. Electronic and organic elements are melted together and in harmony and symbiosis, as an organized patchwork full of colors and life.

midnight alpha. & Needraw - Motions

Pathways is the first collaboration between  Paul Grant, Howard B and elmo. The song was produced remotely with Paul starting the beat and Howard adding Rhodes and the ending section. Elmo then added additional production and synth to complete the track. Pathways takes listeners through a relaxing journey of harmony, melodies and vibrant jazz playing in a perfect blend of jazz and beats. Making it an original and refreshing song to listen to for all the fans of fine jazzy beats. The lovely atmosphere created by the original instruments just makes the song stand out and just the perfect song to relax and vibe too.

ideism - windows down

The magnificent duo, Keeth and elmo, return to create a smooth and jazzy track for Keeth’s new upcoming project. The laid back but intimate drums combined with the mature and sultry piano makes a soundscape similar to many nostalgia feelings. Keeth wanted to give the listener the experience of driving through the streets late at night, and Elmo assisted this vision with his signature sine leads and mixing style. Another previous collaborator, Heemo, also is featured on this track. His incredible trumpet playing provides that much needed layer, taking this track from a smooth experience to a jazzy one. Radio Juicy presents the new single by Vooo. Wax represents a departure from Vooo’s previous catalog of work, venturing into a fusion of progressive modern harmony and purely vintage tones. The sense of sonic authenticity in this track stems from its use of real instruments including the unmistakable Fender Rhodes, hardware effect processing and a delicate instrumental arrangement which calls to mind records from the 70’s R&B era. For an instrumental track it manages to distinctly conjure imagery of late-night candle-lit decadence fueled by the wax grooves of a vinyl record.

Radio Juicy proudly presents “Hipnosis” the first single taken from the long anticipated upcoming album by Elmo & Nico Harris! Breathing with magnificent harmonies, Nico’s jazzy keys are perfectly complemented by elmo’s synth/bass lines and masterful production and mixing technique. The electro-jazz tune also features the young producer anu who added percussion and drums giving the track its energetic groove. Combining all three musician styles, what started out as simple chords blossomed into the crazy expressive jazz track that you hear as the final result. Elmo and Nico have been working together for a while and their complicity has been noticed as each of their previous tracks have left an impression on editorials across musical platforms. This song stays on track and showcase the absolute best both producers have to offer. And it’s only a start, the album will have many more of these absolute gems.
